    The Scale of the Universe

This is a translating scale presentation showing the actual sizes of things in our Universe,
from the incredibly small "Quantum Foam" to the immensities of the Universe and movement itself.

Zoom both in and out, click an item for further details.

Cool shit. Man those Japanese Spider Crabs are huge, in a relative way.

Pretty sure that's a Prezi presentation, they're very cool. my daughter has been working with them a lot, within a couple years you'll probably be seeing them all the time but for now they definitely have the cool factor working. Score points at work and use Prezi instead of Powerpoint or whatever next time you have to present something.

Used Prezi to overhaul a long running, and gauge your eyes out boring, Bar Association Power Point presentation. Now its watchable.

on a related note, history 2 channel is started a series(as far as i know its new) called the universe.

cover a lot of great stuff like this.

they did a model of scale of the earth to the moon and our sun to the next closest suns and galaxies in the milky way. was really cool.

there's a whole lotta cool shit out there in the cosmos, but its one helluva long flight to get to take a close look.

    >>edit looks like its on season 6. sad i missed it as seems to be pretty cool, but glad i have more to do than flip channels for 6 years.

WOW....That is one of the seriously most cool, absolutely SEAMLESS presentations of that sort I've seen in a liong time...in fact, I've never seen anything like it!!!

Usually, you get some stuttering as the screen imagery reloads...but not in this case at ALL!!

I noticed they left everything sort of "up for grabs" beyond say 0.000001 yoctometers...excepting the Planck Length, of course.
