Was just checking out the cams at Alta today and noticed what looks to be a very quick change in the weather. Anyone have an idea what's going on? Snow? Inversion?

Skied with Bum Z this morning. Was in and out clouds with some fog and sun, it was fairly cold too. Snow was nice on the shoulder...not so nice in Glory Hole and Backside.

There's a layer of clouds and fog getting pushed around the canyon, the same thing happened yesterday at this time, as the lake breeze kicks in it gets pushed up canyon. Makes for some fun vertigo, at times. Kind of related to the inversion, though we're not in one right now.
Just clouds, nothing special.
Yesterday was sweet in the bookends, N & W Baldy, and the upper shoulder for sure. Watch out for the compression in the what appears to be flat cat-track running out from the bookends ...![]()

It's messed up how it goes from blue sky to soup in under 15 minutes. Can't wait to hit it on Saturday.
