    Statistics Tutor

My wife is trying to get through Statistics and is having a hard time. Anyone have any recommendations on how they got through the class as far as getting a tutor?

I second Khan academy, it helped get me through stats last semester.

The statistics and probability for dummies books are actually decent.

Ugh, I got a C in stats and was super happy with it.

Alot of colleges or universities offer free tutors. I could have been paid $5/hour (10 years ago) by my school but for chump-change I wasn't going to bother fiilling out the paperwork and tutored for free (Through 2nd year calc). There are likely free resources around. Never had algebra based stats but did a pretty crummy job in calc based Statistics due to not having enough time to ever get to it. Stats can be tricky at least if you don't do your homework.
