Need help choosing name our bike race!

So there is a group of us doing a ride/race from Revelstoke north up to Mica Creek. About a 160 km with 2 major climbs (revelstoke dam and the mica dam) and rolling terrain in between. Finish is the top of Mica dam but there is a 15 km logging rd. to base camp where beverages shall be waiting.

Some of the views along the route

These were the names that were submitted:

    Damsouls in Distress

    Rally for the Cure

    Failed States Open

    The Kalashnikov African Leadership Summit

    Day of the Damned

    Dr. Schultz’s alpine wellness program

    Madoff and Friends 500

    Earl Jones Downhill Invitational

    Thanks!

Dam as in Revelstoke Dam has one m. I'm not sure where those names have much to do with the race except for Day of the Damned. Maybe Damsouls in distress if you fixed the spelling. How about damned again on the Columbia? I love that road by the way. Stop in and ride it on the way through sometimes. I haven't gone all the way up, maybe 40 km and back.

    Columbia reservoir tip?
It's not so much the model year, it's the high mileage or meterage to keep the youth of Canada happy

Thanks for the suggestions L7... Yea, it is a very odd group consisting of ski bums, psychiatrists, IT guys. One night after lots of wine was consumed, we came up with the plan... and the names.

Yea, I'd say its one of the nicest rides in North America, that rarely gets ridden.

    Thanks for voting!
