Also, Teton Village Sports at the base has a lot of nice stuff for demo @ $32 a day. Mojos, big Volkls,Pocket Rockets, etc.
Who charges money to demo anyway? Sounds like renting to me.Originally Posted by Benny Profane

yeah, yeah, you're right. $15 for three hours on an$800 fresh tune setup. dumb move. I'll just use the expert advise in tech talk and hand me downs from shop buds. that demo thing is so way uncool
i think you missed the point. and got a little reactionary in the mean time.Originally Posted by Benny Profane
dude, I'm just saying that I only buy skis I like. Somebody told me the Pocket Rocket was great a few years ago. I think they suck. "cause I demoed. And if that were free, like some other things in life, I would do it a lot more.
Actually, after this trip, I may always rent big skis out here if I settle in upstate NY.
Hey- I demo skis every time. Livin in FLA doesn't let me get out too much. Thanks for the info on the demo tent. What shop there is demoing(renting?) the best stuff?
BTW- I only buy new boots. I could ski on a pair of 2X4s if I had too, long as my boots were dialed in.
I like living where the Ogdens are high enough so that I'm not everyone's worst problem.- YetiMan

"Demo-ing" from a store in Teton Village gets you skis for the whole day - more like a high-performance rental. You can come down and change skis as many times as you want. I'm pretty sure all the stores will credit your "demo" to a purchase.Originally Posted by basom
