    Wolverine - 1/29/05

We took a couple of laps in Wolverine this morning. It was real nice. Enough pow to float on, with a firm bed surface underneath. We got a Scythe, a Roman's, and a patsy marley down to albion.

We saw a Glide crack right by Catherine's pass. Definitely a strange place to see one of these. Not a good place to drop something...

First run of the day - pic taken on the way back up. The line comes off the summit and heads looker's left.

One of the most overhanging cornices I've seen - not a place to go take a look over the edge.

Me at the top of Roman's - it's a steepun

By the time I was through the crux, the slough was picking up some momentum, I had to get out pretty fast to keep from getting swept off my feet.

    Looking back up.

We got another nice run down the south facing slope back into the resort. Great day out, especially since we only had a few hours today.

I don't know if my fat, lazy, old ass will be able to keep up with you tuesday. You can break trail all day.

that pic is of a cornice drop that produced a very small slide that pulled out 6" or so in the apron.

^^^^Simple night shift humor. I'm an internet geek at work, because I'm a loser. That's why I'll inpatiently be awaiting a Pfeif TR from you guys tomorrow night.

Don't even think about sleeping the night before you post it.

I can host your video footage. Give it to me on monday or tuesday, when I get home, I'll upload it.

it's mpeg 2 and i'd have to do a lot of messing around with wires to swap between helmet and regular. i just think it would be an interesting look at the rappel. i hope that the battery holds out on my digi vid. i'll see what i get on film first. i may be able to send a few short clips through email. i have a 20mb limit on outgoing.
