    Flat-water kayaking near Bozeman?

    Hey there!

I'll be in Bozeman, MT in a few days and was wondering if anyone here has any suggestions for some flat-water/slow-moving water kayaking spots appropriate for a few sea kayaks. Any tips/leads would be much appreciated! Thanks!

Haha, so true. All the outfitters around here have been giving me weird looks (at least, I'm imagining them giving me weird looks over the phone). I think I'm going to try to rent some ATVs tomorrow, or some sno-mos, but it's kind of that in-between time where it's not really "great" to do either. Plus, we're supposed to get T-Storms tomorrow! =D

Lower Madison is your best bet, right next to highway 84 for hitchhikin shuttles. Beware of gale-force winds.

Not sure a sea kayak would be my craft of choice on the lower maddy but I suppose it'd work... A canoe would be fine, or you know, a drift boat.
Its not that I suck at spelling, its that I just don't care
