I've been working on some smaller Spatula's mainly for those who the Spatula is too big a ski but also for tree and narrow chute skiing for me....So far i have cut up and re-built/re-edged a pair of 170 Powder Pluses..they now measure 107-112-102...but this morning they still had almost normal camber...in Soft snow or chunky snow - Great fun, real easy to turn...in Bumps, better than my explosives....much better...on hardpack, so very very scary...unlike normal Spatulas which you just slide our turns, these hookup and rail unless being pushed into a slide....they will reverse carve, but they do this without asking, making the flater sections unnerving....they are currently clamped in reverse camber under a heat lamp.....I
If I get them finished they will appear at the Summit for folks to try.....
