Exclamation PNW Emotional Support Party... not really

If anyone needs to drink beer, vent, talk about the 8 days they got in this season, or brag about the new gear they never got to use... here is your chance!!!!

The Harmon is throwing a "Pray for Snow Party" tomorrow night (29th) at 9pm. Maybe we could all get together since its been ohhhh what, Rusty's party since we all hung out.

    So who's in????

    PARTAAAY

Oh there's alcohol. No problem ordering at restaurants and the like but if you want good beer (i.e. higher than 3.2%) and reasonably priced wine for consumption outside of an eatery you've got to BYOB.

    Tram Club @ the 'Bird
Pint of beer for $3 and add a shot of your choice for $1
*just make sure someone else is driving you down the canyon!

also- note that all the liqour drinks are served in smaller glasses to keep the taste strong- so less total liquid, but still you can't taste the liquor.

and when in doubt at a bar- order a full-strength beer. these are only in bottles and you can tell which ones they are by the identifying 'orange' udabc sticker on them (looks like a cheap price tag)

I am heading to whistler to schralp the gnar aka slop just because I need to do so. KQ- having just bought my ticket to SLC yesterday I can relate to the sense of liberation. Now let's pray for a huge storm to add to the freedom!

    Will do!

SQ99 thanks for the tidbits. I will heed your advice while in the land of Mormon. I am going to get 4 days of skiing in, and I can't wait!

OK, so is anyone gonna show at this thing tonight?

My GF has called me four times from Snowbasin today. First it was "when's your flight getting in?" Then it's "Why don't you stay another day?" next "Why don't you come a day earlier too?" Finally it's "just buy and open ended ticket!"

LOL!!! What started out as a four day trip has turned into 10 days. Oh yeah.

Snow Basin, Pow Mow... those are two of the places I'll be. I want to head to a third or fourth place but I am not sure where. Any suggestions? We are staying at Wolf Creek Resort outside of Pow Mow, and we will have a Rental Suburban... so a 1 to 2 hour drive is doable.

So KQ you gonna show tonight, or are you just gonna stay home and post about your trip?

If it were closer to home I might just make it but I've got to ride the horse tonight plus I'm planning to hook up with some friends for a 7:00am bike ride tomorrow.

That's way too far to drive when drinks are involved.

I'll be hosting what will hopefully be an "it's about fucking time" party at my new digs in Fremont sometime in early March.

And if any WA mags need statewide lift tickets ala corporate pass, let me know. I've got too many to use with the remaining season, and I'll sell 'em cheap.

I hear ya! I am in the same boat as you...my corporate pass tickets are gathering dust on the shelf. I dont imagine they will give us some sort of refund.

If the ski season ever does get rolling again I am going to unload as many as possible.

So about tonight... last time you said it was too far to walk, now you are saying it is too far to drive... where do you live???? Pt. Angeles??? Get in your car and get down here! You can stay at Jumpers.

I work Saturdays. No can do.

I really only go out to places I can walk to, or ride in someone else's car, as a rule.

I lack judgement when I drink, and I lack judgement about when to drink.

Fair enough... still we all need to get together sometime since it is obviously not going to happen on the hill this year.
