If you were, you wouldn't be bashing the front of your helmet into stuff like that.

maybe it is because i live in canada but I am pissed at Giro:
    1) Broke the visor in the first week last season - nothing abusive, the screwhole just broke.
    2) Ordered/warranteed a new visor through the shop - never came in before the end of the season (2 months after ordering).
    3) E-mailed them several times over the summer - no response.
    4) Re-ordered the visor the first week of ski season (back in Oct!) - still nothing.
    5) The threaded inserts for the visor both came loose so that I can't tighten or loosen the screw for the duct-taped mess on the helmet so I sent the whole damn thing back (about a month ago).

Still waiting. I really like the helmet but WTF? It has been almost a year since I started to try and get something out of them and still nothing, not even a fuck off.

did you call their 800 number? that's how i ordered the visor.

before my visor broke in two, i had to keep tightening the screws throughout the day. i'll probably just keep it stowed until i need to attach it.

Nope, I suppose I should have tried to find one. Sometimes the 800 numbers don't work from canada though. It is out my hands pretty much since the whole thing is gone now. I am gonna give the guy in the shop a gas pedal and tell him to pass it on to the folks over in Giro.

For the visor screws there was a thread a while back (I think it was phUnk that had the best advice): use blue locktite on the threads and put little velcro patches on the visor and the helmet to stop it from catching the wind and flipping up.

The new visor is no visor. All the cool kids are doing it, and you can even put your goggles up if you want.

ya I know but I seem to be a goggle idiot, they always slide off the top (unless I am using my wisdoms and the strap is rubberized) except for when I am sporting a visor. I have to say though that I am quite fond of the visor.
