Utards - any snow in the forecast

Just about to pull trigger on a trip out to Solitude for feb 4-6. Was wondering if this drought is going to lift by then?
Charlie, here comes the deuce. And when you speak of me, speak well.

Moisture will increase from the south today. A series of weak storms will affect the Cottonwood and Provo Canyon areas through the weekend with light winds and modest snowfall.

Just a heads-up - yesterday's mountain forecast and long-range discussion said another high pressure ridge would be building back in after this round of moisture. Seemed to state no significant storms for 10 days out.

cottonwood canyons forecast calling for 5-8" tomorrow. A little more than I was expecting. But yeah, I've heard the same thing about the ridge building in after this weekend.

So in other words, scratching our heads will produce more "snow" than the skies?

If it starts to look like the Pacific Northwest--then it's time to worry.

I don't know. A friend has a friend who has a condo who is letting us occupy said condo.

    Very sketchy goings on.

I am holding out for early march late february. By then that blasted ridge will break down for good and those late winter storms will blow.

    Right? Sure.

listen if you live in the pnw you'd take high pressure corn refreeze over anything right now.
