I'm trying to decide whether that's a better view than the soul-stirring vista of Tooting railway station that greets me in the morning...

Rerun Tom. I'm sure you did this to us about this time last year.

But fair enough, it's definately better than the view of the fat German sat opposite me.

    Reminds me of New Jersey...

...when I have my eyes closed and I'm dreaming of being in the mountains!

I would so love sitting next to that window, drinking my morning coffee, and reading the paper.

    Awesome view, you bum.
However, I'm thinking if I'm you, I'm leaving the location field blank. It seems to me that it could catch the eye of a passerby...

I've got a black laptop too. Black laptops are nice aren't they. Mine's even better because when I look up from it there's a fat german across the room.

Where's that pic from Ripzalot? It looks almost as nice as my black laptop.

edit: I'm an idiot (Lausanne switzerland n'est pas?)

the desktop homer is awesome. it's actually an am/fm radio, controlled by the eyeballs. one eye turns the radio on/off and controls volume while the other eye is the tuner.

Whoops. Missed your question. That's off my balcony looking across lake Geneva. You can see several ski resorts along the perimeter of the lake. Les Diablerest, Leysin, Villars, Verbier is a little around the corner.

Little late, and not as awe-inspiring, but it is the first snow in town.

correct me if I'm wrong, but is the left circle the backside of Leysin and the right circle Diablerets? It's been awhile.

Man, I love that drive to Verbier - Lake Geneva is cool!

Close! You got the Les Diablerests part right. Leysin is the two bumps the the right of that. Here's a closer-up. Not often (twice a year) you can catch the moon rising over Leysin like that.
