In a situation like that, the GSA could easily be coerced to produce propaganda films about the merits of captivity that would fly in the face of his free range spirit.

The GSA should not, I repeat NOT, be darted and detained.

DO NOT post fake sightings, this is seriuos spiritual shit here, not some bigfoot shit.

Skidmark, our regional GSA tracking coordinator, will be following up with a strongly worded letter in your inbox.

Discussions of DIN settings are irrelevant - the GSA doesn't even know, since those pesky details are left up to his trusted assistant who helps him click in.

This is 100% real. The day he was @ Snowbird the whole place was abuzz w/ stories of his antics and appearances.
He explained his gear by saying he was training to be a guide in AK.
When asked why he had so many cameras, he replied, "You'd be AMAZED by the footage I get." I believe him!
He spent 4+ hours in Christy Sports (w/ a lunch break) and my friend got some good details from him. He bought boots, binders and boards from Ski-N-See to the tune of $3,000. When he got up to the 'Bird he couldn't click in because the sold him binders that were a size too small and wouldn't fit his sole length. I heard they also did a shitty job mounting everything.
He had to buy all new skis and bindings from Christy's. My friend talking to him said the veins in his neck were popping out and he was all 'roided up. This dude is huge and you probably wouldn't mess w/ him in person.

This describes how most people on the interwebs would act if they ever met their tormenter in person.

Even the french are picking up on this.....

    http://vimeo.com/31611205

Dont "know" what he's saying ..... but it goes something like:

gapers are cool, gapers are hot, gapers make the ladies cream if i am getting it right

don't fuck with me, i take it from the Sprit Animal of the Gaper, he got that style i like

so keep on gaping it up y'all, cuz thats what the GSA would have us do

and you know that some day well be bagging peaks and macking ladies in AK too

I was about to call BS on this, then realized that someone wearing three (or four?) video cameras probably wouldn't accept the idea of skiing on planks that had been drilled more than once.

How did this escape my attention for so long? I just spent a beautiful hour checking this out while my co workers keep asking "what are you laughing at?"

I'm sending a prayer that I may be blessed with a GSA sighting in Whistler. Truly it would be like coming off the Peak Chair and seeing a burning bush.

I'd probably fall to my knees and start speaking in tongues.

^^^^^This sounds consistent with what I would have guessed of the GSA.

On another note, I am somewhat concerned that the GSA may tire of his current attire and begin sporting different outerwear. With that in mind, be on the lookout for behavioral consistency as described in previous threads as well as the approximate stature of the GSA and any other tell-tale signs. He could be sporting new outwear or perhaps a different back pack. I hope this is not the case and I am confident that even if he did, we can still have additional conclusive sightings of him.

    Continue the search!

Wow, I can't believe I didn't see this thread until today. I've seen in listed, just never thought to click.

Although I too question the validity of the GSA, isn't that what it's all about?

To show my gratitude to this thread for providing so much WIN, I submit this:

    Now who wants one?

and btw, when did we start using gaper again?
I thought only gapers say gaper, and that's why we say jong...?

    God damn. Another win.

GSA was coined by someone back in the original gaper quote thread where this all came together. It fit so well that it stuck.

Very valid concern. Anyone with the ability to walk into a store buy skis and binders, get sold the wrong size binders and a bad mount, then go back to the same store to rebuy the same equipement, could easily be capable of a outerwear change at a moments notice.

Could even be a breakaway outerlayer, although not sure how that would work with the harness.
    Only GSA could know........
whatever I feel like i what to do!

So, this guy works in NYC, probably makes big money, and takes frequent trips and/or owns houses in Utah and CO?

    Gold, Jerry!

I wanna see his carbon-fiber fly rod, Patagonia waders, a tackle box with everything in it, the finest drift boat being towed by a loaded full ton, and his poorly trained horses that he busts out in the summer. Oh, don't forget a cowboy hat. I wonder if he frequents Bozeman/Big Ski, or *gasp* Missoula.

And where is Greg from AZ? He's slipping. Must be the dump VT got.
    No longer stuck.
