Assuming it's all for a good cause, I hope the GSA keeps on GSA-ing it. Why blend in with the masses when you're the ultimate double Go-Pro, Contour, Harness and Hand-Fanny Pack-wearing advert for your cause? Last season was like a real life game of Where's Wally - you never knew where the GSA would turn up. Why not keep everyone on the look-out and keep stoking the interest? Maybe an extra Go-Pro, maybe some new ski wear or some other badass equipment. Spotting the second coming of the GSA is surely the true test of who is truly enlightened...

GSA spotting in SLTahoe casino last May. Chest radio cackling, GoPro blinking, harness clanking, full Skittle Militia regalia, dancing in the nightclub ... actually sprinted thru the casino.

To make up for that, a sighting at the front desk of a posh hotel in the Dolomites last month.

I'd like to say that my hand was concealing the GSA's identity, but the truth is I got a new phone and am too stupid to take a decent picture with it, especially when awed by the Presence.

I know it's not the GSA... but there's a bit of the Gaper Spirit in everybody... just a little more with this snowboarder today at Whistler in the Excelerator lift line. (Can't believe other mags didn't spot and post this first.)

^^^^ There were so many GSAs yesterday on Whistler that it has proved once and for all the existence of pantheism. I don't even know where to begin. We've even got Touring Gapers now ... which is scary. At least two snowboarders bootpacking out on Oboe ridge without gear; one party departing at 12:30pm for Fissile, 17km away, thinking it's "just past Oboe;" and I watched two guys fall off the skin track clacking away in Dukes. I mean, everyone has to learn, but some people are just possessed by the GSA, haunted by it, for their entire lives. And for this reason they become the bread and butter of the resort...

So whats the GSA been up to lately?

I must admit looking a bit GSA myself, several sale purchases in the last year with limited or no color choice have me standing out in a crowd. Sorry no pics.

^^ the industry has heard the praise of GSA's followers and have focused their product lines accordingly.

I was driving home tonight through the junkshow on Hwy 93, when I realized I was looking at a 'Believe' sticker, upturned-toe and all.

Thanks, you in the dark colored Jeep Cherokee...you made my day, particularly after carefully navigating my way through the gaping on the highway.

That setup wouldn't last 5 minutes in the PNW. Tree branch whiplash.

Unless they had studfinders, they definitely weren't properly prepared. Lesbo strap 9000, while not mandatory, is nice to have for backup.

Probably not, but it looks from teh video that it rotates so if it hits a tree it'll spin. Would likely work with PNW spacing but fail on the EC

Welp, this epic thread has been quiet this winter.

All the clues left behind lead me to one conclusion regarding GSA's whereabouts... he clearly took the form of a unicorn and flew off into the sunset.

    The End???
