Real old school, covering late 1800's through late 1930's:
I just finished reading Lowell Skoog's Written in the Snows, which covers much of the PNW ski history. This film has footage from the 1934 Silver Skis race on Mt Rainier, the 1935 National Championship held on Rainier. Also a good segment at 1hr 10min mark on the Ski Hayden development that never was. Coincidentally, the new owners of Ski Hayden's Highland Bavarian lodge just commissioned a documentary on the lodge/ski area history that will hopefully be out this year. They struck a deal with the County to "preserve" the lodge in exchange for additional development rights.
