Good Set of Exercises for Strength and Knee Protection

    http://www.skiingmag.com/skiing/be_s...927259,00.html

We've had a bad season up here in the Pacific Northwest. So I didn't have my early season legs from skiing up at hood or bachelor a few times in early december. Found this little article on strength building. It helped me have the legs to ski temerity (highlands at ropedrop after 18 inches. :-) Sorry, don't have the pics, had to skate and ski. Took a breath in the middle of the glade to enjoy the pristine moment though.)

Back to the exercise, Let me tell you, after the first time I exercised my leg muscles felt just like I had gone skiing for the first time of the season. You know what I mean. Lately, the exercise has become easier and I've worked it into my routine. Which is a good thing. Because sadly I am stuck in the pacific northwest. Waiting for the snow to fall. And if I didn't do the exercise I would not be ready for my next mountain adventure. Which I have faith will occur in the next two months. That or I'll pick up a pair of v-exes with freeride at's for next season.

I hope this link helps you out there. I know that it really helped my muscles stay in shape for my next adventure.

I think quite a few of us have been doing those.

The fact that Miss Moats is demonstrating certainly doesn't hurt, either.
