    Motivation to quit smoking...

    Motivation to quit smoking:
Sitting in my room studying bio around three in the morning, I hear a loud BAAAM and i notice that the wind has picked up tremendously. Bieng in the middle of a forest I instinctivly think that a tree has just fallen and crushed my two friends whom are outback smoking the last cig of the day. I run down the stairs, fly out the door to see Stickes holding his forehead with a deshevled look on his face. "What the hell was that?!?!" I stammer. Jon, with a devilish smirk on his face, answers "the wind just slammed the door into Stickes' head." "Oh, well, ok that sucks" and back inside I go for some more of my hell in cellular respiration. Five minutes later Stickes walks into the room with one hell of a goose egg and a funny look on his face...

Lung cancer may suck, but at this rate none of us are going to live long enough to get it.

yeah, smoking is a bitch. i swear that if it wasn't so damn bad for you, i would certainly smoke (i like it better than the green ferchristsake). but after seeing my 59 year old father just almost die from a combined heart attack and stroke (at least half of which can be attributed to his pack a day habit), my desire to smoke has greatly decreased.

My dad also had a massive heart attack at 55 yrs old. The Surgeon said it was 100% a result of his 2 pack a day habit.. Luckily, he has since stopped smoking and exercises daily and lives a healthy lifestyle.. Smoking is baaadd..
