Mammoth kicks ass. If touring is to be had, I'd rather do some touring around Mammy and save the lifty stuff for T-Ho.Originally Posted by funkendrenchman
BTW, I think we are pulling a Mammy '94? in the PNW- I think it was about '94 (sometime in the mid-'90's) when they had no snow through February- then were finally able to open on a manmade base President's Day weekend- before getting some good storms in late Feb., March & April.
Edit: What's another 2.5 hours after driving 13.5?![]()
tell that to your ass during your 14th hour of driving....Originally Posted by Squirrel99

I was thinking the same thing. Judging by how low Palmer got this fall, if we don't have a big spring, T'line's in trouble for their summer season, which I'm guessing makes them more money than their winter most years.Originally Posted by Jumper Bones
If you go to Mammy, lemme know. My brother (Yardsale) is working/living there.

June, July and August are something close to half of their revenue - which is why they've set up the windfarm on east palmer. Could be grimOriginally Posted by optics

Hmmmmm, 1976 was the year WH20 opened and we've never seen as much snow since. The "kick in the head" on the Blast was dug out and had four foot walls on either side. I hope that's the ominous sign your talkin bout, cus it looks like April right now!Originally Posted by Squirrel99

Ullr has completely avoided us all year. WH20 is still on the books for a return trip in either Feb. or March. Need to get that snow machine cranking cause there is absolutely no hope in the PacNW of salvaging this season.
At this point a 6.5-7.5 hour drive for good snow is very do-able.
