    Full Tilt modified with snowboardbinding-strap?

I have a bit of problem with every boot I try on and I recently bought myself a pair of Full Tilt Konflict ,which I just love by the way, fits great around the foot but have some room around my calfs. My calfs are some skinny sticks at the bottum and the muscle is quite defined (if I may say).

I can't seem to get it real tight around the calf (works great at first but after some rounds in the pists it goes a bit loose) and was looking over at the Dalbello Il Moro Hall pro model which has a snowboardbinding-look-a-like bockle at the top. Got me thinking of maybe its possible to remove the top buckle and the powerstrap, replace it with a buckle like on the Dalbello.

Any ideas or someone did something like that?
Will this modifactions ruin some of the natural flex on the top of the tongue?

Have'nt tried the Dalbellos and a bit of tired of trying boots that feels ok but when i ski them they get a bit loose, so I thought I might try doing some mods to my lovely Full Tilts. It's not a HUGE problem but would be great to have them tight!

why would the snowboard strap make the boot tighter then the FT cable? have you just maxed out the buckles range?
    1) move the cable to the other, tighter position in the shell.
    2) if that is maxed, buy a shorter cable from a FT dealer.
    3) add a F lean shim (konflicts come with this, and others)
    4) add a booster strap to the top, and use the stock power strap around the liner only, and the booster around the whole shell

Didn't actually know that there were so many parts available for the Full Tilts. Will search for the parts but don't seem like there is any dealers here in Norway for parts.

When it comes to the idea of useing snowboardstrap I was thinking of mounting it a bit higher then the top buckle, possibly distribute the pressure evenly over the top of the tongue better than the cabel and powerstrap. Just some thoughts..... More like the top buckle of the Salomon Ghost that Hoji usen on his DynaFit, only even wider.

I use a ratchet strap from an old Burton custom binding instead of the power strap on my BD Methods (and on my Scarpa Tornados before that). I have HUDGE calves, legs like stumps, so it really helps contain the shell and liner and wrap them around the leg better. Everyone who has tried them on has been blown away by the difference in contact and pressure distribution. My brother is chicken-legged, and also digs it. And yes, I got the idea from the Il Moro as well. Plake is the man.

the store I work at is a FT dealer, and stocks most parts (see my signature) and we can ship to you.
I"d add a booster to make this better.
