    Big Sky in April

My family has some property in Montana so we used to vacation there in the summer just to check on it. This stopped about ten years ago. I decided why not try to go skiing there since from what I have read it seems pretty awesome and my family enjoys skiing. I was thinking April, but my mother who hasn't skied outside of California for 40(?) years believes she will be too cold and not enjoy it.
How cold does it get? Do you think we Southern California Sissies could handle Big Sky? And how to convince her to go as she is the main person trying to prevent it?

Yes this is a somewhat pointless thread, but thanks for any help as I would really enjoy if we could all go skiing there.

    Thanks,
    Neil

The question is whether or not it won't still be a big pile of rocks in April. Yes, you can "handle" Big Sky. Your skis' bases on the other hand, not so much. The altitude adjustment should make things wonderful, though.
It won't be too cold in April and Big Sky faces south. Might wanna check out the Moonlight side. Used to ski there.
    No longer stuck.
