i'm moving to the SLC in august. i'm coming to do some apartment scoping and alta skiing in late feb. i'm trying to gather some info. where's the best area to rent in terms of fun to be had without an excessive amount of driving to do after paying a visit to the pub? what's a good price for a one bedroom place up yonder? utilities, internet, all that other shite? i'll also have a degree by then but really don't want a job with any real level of responsibilty. any ideas on a job that can get me about 24-30g a year. i'm completely in the dark here. i've been up a few times but haven't done much outside of ski. thanks for the help folks. peace to all the lovely peeps out there.

this oughtta help. I would suggest sugarhouse. I lived in Sandy this summer and found I was constantly driving north to do stuff in the city.

I would search a bit for this, its been covered a few times.

I live downtown where I can walk home from bars/resturants and I am 3 blocks from the freeway.

I work at the hill ( as does the yetified one above) so I drive up the Canyon more than even the most dedicated ski bum ( cuz guess where I spend most of my days off!>?)
for that kinda coin and hoping to get night work I would look at E-bay's big office here, or one of the many reservation/customer service call centers that are here.
You could also look at Hotel frontdesk or bellwork.
