I got turned on to www.kickstarter.com a few months ago, and had missed some pretty killer stuff, but lately I've been buying a few things off of there. If you aren't familiar with how it works, basically someone has an idea for a product that they need funding for to do a first run production, so they list their product on Kickstarter. It typically has 30-60 days to fund. If it does sell enough to fund, the buyer usually gets a discount of around 33%, and if it doesn't fund, everyone gets to walk away with no out of pocket costs.
I backed this project in Nov, and should have my stabilizer by late Jan.

I missed this project, but I bought one this week.

I backed this project this week, so hopefully it funds. I think it's a sweet little add on if you shoot any video with your DSLR.

Anyway, just figured I throw that site out there because it's a great way to see some really innovative stuff, and potentially help someone out while getting a great deal at the same time. Win-win for everyone.
