Storm skiing at Bridger today. Kind of a zoo but it was fun being in the middle of it.

I went south and was rewarded but it is just too busy for me to really enjoy myself. Maybe Wednesday am session will be quieter.
I have been in this State for 30 years and I am willing to admit that I am part of the problem.

I'll be there Wednesday too. Really hoping for a Snowfield opening. From what I hear it looks pretty good from Mad 8..

It was nuts crowd-wise today, but overall still very manageable since it's big sky. Lone tree delivered. Also got my boys first tram ride in with shitty vis, but being from the pnw, it felt normal.Name: VideoCapture_20241230-181937.jpg

FYI I ran across a BSSP friend who was coming off the N. Summit route. If visibility is good you may get your wish. She said they moved a lot of snow but it was good skiing.

I'm glad they are getting it skied so it all doesn't blow away.

Call me crazy but it was way better than I expected. At least for the first four runs of untracked snow off Belmont. Once it got chopped up, it did become difficult and I left.

Thanks! Timing for your visit is great. Mtn is skiing fantastic and looks like chance of more snow the next few days.

Crowds were pretty light today as well. Don’t think we waited more than 10-15 minutes for tram and everything else we skied was walk on.

Yes!!! Way to get it! I retract my previous statements from a few days ago when I was not so stoked. It is game on now! Kids had a blast sledding all day in town today.

    Yeah dudes!

This thread has the best marketing department on TGR. For a dream with an IKON, what are the more budget lodging options in the 'hood generally. I'd be driving.

All kinds of options in Bozeman.

As far as Big Sky, maybe Yeahman can chime in as he plays that game more than most here. Maybe West Yellowstone is the cheapest option?

Rest day for me. Bridger video looked great though.

If I don't stay with friends in Big Sky or at the Huntley on the mountain, I stay at the Holiday Inn in West Yellowstone or the C'mon Inn in Bozeman. Definitely waaay cheaper if you don't mind driving an hour.

I don't know jackshit about Legend Status, Freds Van or that part of Montana.

I do know that I'm more of a West Jelly Type that Bozeone. A sled n ski trip up there would be awesome.
