After my first semester @ full courseload I was bummed at not having enough fun and committed to the 5-year track for engineering.

Looked at the published schedules years ahead and arranged classes around blocks of ski time. Only one class bucked the plan as it wasn't offered in the semester I "needed" it, but took it in the summer and kept truckin. Worked part time at the ski shop, got good grades, skied no fewer than 85 days each year.

Finishing in 4 years is crazy IMO but I had cheapo in-state tuition.

    Probably in 10 days.
I have been in this State for 30 years and I am willing to admit that I am part of the problem.

Hope this storm actually produces. Dense snow would be fine. The Coral Reefer has emerged once again after the hot sun this weekend. Gonna need some serious paste to get it covered back up.

Eagles show up every spring a week or two before the rodents "hatch". Like the eagles in AK waiting for the various salmon runs.

Got some PDs popping up in my yard. Gonna need to get an air rifle for stealth extraction.

The locals here go golfing and shoot them while golfing with air rifles. It's kinda hilarious.

I'll be down there with Tommy + Adam. No super high expectations. Coral will be apparent on anything not north facing. HW might be pretty decent though.

Traffic this am was unbelievable. Stop and go from just south of Karst to the new stop light at Little Coyote, then no problems other than I was working instead of skiing. Legit 12" on the Lookout Ridge snow plot.

Buddy who left before me reported 1.5 hrs from Storm Castle to parking lot in Stillwater.

Ehhh, spring break for MSU/Local public school this week, road a little greasy, 12" of new snow, dry season overall, bridger barely got any snow last night......it's not the new norm overnight. Midweek normal season days will still be relatively mellow. We are 25 years away from Brahlorado Front Range or SLC Canyon traffic.

I'll have a little place near some obscure mellow terrain ski hill with zero town/amenities by then and it will be great cause I will be old and not care about good terrain really anymore.

Missoula news reported of a Utah Man, 64, died in an avalanche near Lost Trail. I believe it was Tuesday. Other sources report him from Park City. I couldn't find an avalanche report yet.

I left my house at 6:45, was first chair at Swifty at 8:15, went straight to Challenger, never waited in line, and had 10 laps by noon. Never mind this was on a powder day during spring break at a destination resort.

On the way home I took photos of a beautiful river.

Yeah, you'll get no bitching from me.
