I certainly trust at least one of you busters got out to Bridger or Big Sky today. The epicness abounded, I'm sure.
In similar news, the free wax & tune night returns this year. If you remember from last year, we had a free wax and hand tune for your board/skis at the Pour House. The same continues this year; 5 - 9pm with Bozone beer specials and half price wings. Give your sticks some love and come tell us how rad it was on the hill today.
See you tonight.
Tonight? That shindig sounds perfect. When is the next one?
Tone letting em run, before the North winds blew our dreams away...

Drive slow, homie.
Tram closed today due to "extremely rocky" conditions up top. I guess it was open for scenics but that's it.
8" new today should help cover those rocks.
Too bad I have to work. Oh well tomorrow and Monday.
I have been in this State for 30 years and I am willing to admit that I am part of the problem.

Can anybody give some good recommendations on good places to eat and drink in Bozeman? My brother and I will be there Dec 31-Jan 6.
As far as eating, I like the Bacchus Pub. Drink, I generally like the Hideaway. It's never too loud and way cheaper than downtown bars.
Mackenzie River Pizza is a good place.
Pickle barrel has good hot/cold sandwiches. Molly Brown and the Haufbrau on w. babcock are bars with a manageable douchebag to dirtbag ratio.

Something like that.
Patrol asked us not to go north last run of the day, apparent incident (tib/fib) N of BC gate. Quick healing to those involved.
Density change ~20cm down in storm snow, in addition to persistent problem down low. Be safe, hopefully we are getting over the hump!
Drive slow, homie.
i heard compound femur! revolving door. who knows though. heard skiier was female.

Big Sky was pretty good today. Not the crowds I expected. Some thigh deep turns out on the S. Wall and Challenger was good as well.
No Tram but understandable what with the tender snow pack and abundant snow available for transport along with moderate west and NW winds.
It was a good day.

Nice MT, love that 2nd one. Thinking we may have taken a last run of the day on scorched legs yesterday? Good stuff.
Great cycle, just keeps getting better.

yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11
Awesome pics!
So are there no longer lift tickets sold for just the moonlight side of Big Sky? I recall tickets a few years ago being like $59 at Xmas. I'm not sure how keen my brother and I are to spend $99 on a single liftie. I think for this season they should still have moonlight only tickets available with similar prices as in the past they way people can still have a moonlight only pass.
I know most of you are quite savvy, but here's a reminder that it's pretty unstable right now. Be safe out there.

I'm with you man, it was DEEP in the Bowl, really fun. I also did a few good runs on the lower mountain as there was good powder to be had on the edges of the cruisers. Ventured over to Headwaters for one run in the afternoon but it was blown off and really rocky. Nice day and great temps too.
It appears that theme for the weekend was, "Hold my dick!" So f-ing good. I absolutely smoked my legs skiing bell to bell on Saturday. So much so that Sunday I was total beater. Well, I'm already a beater, the roached legs only exemplified that. Shedhorn was holding waist deep stashes in parts and knee deep all the way around otherwise. I was giggling like a maniac all weekend. I'll apologize now if there were small children around when I kept hollering, "hold my dick!" as I mached down everything I could find. F, I love living here...
