Just a touch and go from me here...

I didn't want to doosh up your thread so I posted a fresh what do I do in MT thread. I'd be pumped if some of you dropped in and gave some guidance to us gapers dropping in to Bozeman next week.

    Thanks

Quick question for you Bozeman folks - I might be in town this winter on and off for work - it'll be a day job with semi-flexible morning hours. If I wanted to get my skin on at sunrise during the week is there anything nearby worthy of a morning lap that would have me back in town around 10? I'm used to skiing Glory Bowl before work so something like that would be perfect, but I also get that 2k of sick terrain 20 minutes from town might be a tall order and am cool with some meadow skipping if that's all you got for a quick morning trip.

You don't have to give up directions/trailheads in this thread if you don't want - just some guidance and maybe a shop to talk to would be much appreciated.

History Rock. It's a popular spot up Hyalite.

just as an FYI, in case you haven't heard... Friday would be an extremely good day to skip work/class/whatever and go skiing. Gonna dump.

Dump is back on schedule due to anti-jinx.

I've got the flu and won't be skiing for several days.

Seems to be just in time for the snow not to fall.

One inch never skied so well at Bridger this morning...seriously. As with all big storm predictions, I've learned to believe it when I ski it.

We got a fresh 14" of spackled served up this morning @ Snowbowl. Continued pounding through the day should make for lousy riding tomorrow....

Roberto MildWillie is correct. A few inches here and there at BS/MLB. Definitely not snowing here now...... Classic sarcasm... Challenger had about 6-8 around 3 p.m. and the bowl maybe 4-6. Tram was closed today except for Big C. Should be money tomorrow! Love how patrol sets up for these "believe it" storms. We can get the goods before the masses arrive on Saturday. Honestly hope BB gets the same or more. Get it while you can! Yeah, lurker, stupid name. I'm amazed I remembered it. I will PM Rontele and please jong me. Hearing 30 inches by 9 am. TWSS.. You're welcome. Be safe!

Looked at the GNFAC avy report - looks like thing are getting ugly, and it won't take much to make things kinds sporty out there. Be careful - I wanna be called a gaper by all you bastards when I'm out in Feb...

Didn't happen for a variety of reasons.

When will the NWS figure out that it don't snow appreciable amounts when the air temp is -0f?

Well blast. Wife and I had planned to take the day off work today to go to Bridger. $15 deal and all! Ends up the storm that blew in yesterday has caused the highway we depend on to get out of here to be shut down. Would be like a 6+ hour drive to Bridger to take the detour in this weather. So here I am at work.

Enjoy all the fresh goods, pendejos! Should be a killer day out there.

Yeah, been out of Billings for a while now. Home is technically now Big Sky, but still working in BFE (re: Lewistown). So sadly, looks like I'm stuck here today.

^better than working in Scobey, where I have been ! glad I got of there earlier in the week, but this damn Gandalf was such a tease, I had a serious chubby for it, then panned out into not much, or not enough. I think I need to go to Cooke next weekend.

Quick and simple question for Lone Peak mags.

If you are skiing outside the boundaries of Big Sky/MLB and require medical help or rescue.

Who do you think will be the responding party?

    Just curious.

    Thanks
