This fucking winter is fucking killing me, its not supposed to do this in January. The mountain shouldnt be closing due to 20" base that is flooded so bad that you cant get from the lodge to the lift without a boat.

Ullr, Seriously. I think the weather dudes at KOMO must be sick of me emailing them by now...with the usual... "so, when's the la nina forming?" "Is there ever going to be a winter this year in the PNW?" "What are the models looking like for Feb/March?" I'd be happy at this point making laps down ice hard groomers- just to have a base! 
the latest weather summary for the WA Cascades....
The long-range forecast does finally have some relief from the rain and warm weather by early next week, with just light rain and temperatures coming back to the 40s. But by then, there might not be much if any snow left in the mountains. Hopefully we'll get "stuck" in a pattern of rain at times and highs in the mid 40s, which would do wonders to rebuild the snowpack.
Could somebody please send us some cold weather and a ton of moisture???
