    Skogen to Völkl

Skogen Sprang and Sarah Burke are now on Völkl. Press release went out this morning and a buddy forwarded it to me. Thought you all would like to know.

Rumor mill had Mike Wilson leaving Line too. No substantiated details on that, though.

Sounds like trouble at Line. Can't believe they lost Skogen.

I think that new binding is going to be a noose around their neck.

Funny, there's a lot of talk about a lot of big names switching up recently. While big names like Volkl are buying talent, PM Gear has been approached by even bigger skier names seeking signature skis and an interest in the company. It's getting quite interesting....

What's sad is that even if the new version IS all it's supposed to be, the damage has been done. It could take years to rebuild any trust in the product. I'm far less a fan of the company than I used to be, but I hope they can survive it.

Had heard rumors that Line were dropping Skogen's "pro-model" thought it was so they could focus more on the younger guys coming up like Bibby and co....

Also rumours of Wilson over to Salomon...?

Sarah onto Volkl is awesome though - guess the womens skis at Volkl are gonna be going of in the next few seasons... perfect timing to get my girl on to some!

And, oh yes, the potential of the Volkl adds for next year...

    okay, I'll bite.

The oddsmakers in Vegas are of the opinion that you're referring to one Mr. Huckstable, at least as evidenced by one Tech Talk thread and the word on the street about the creator's feelings about the demise of his butter-spreader.

There's been talk, but no, he's not really who I was referring to. Nor can I narrow it down anymore to sate your curiosity.

well then, why say anything at all, if not but to slake my curiosity.
    Tease.

By the way (massive thread hijak), I'm selling the Jaks, and I might just mount some Freerides on the Bros after all. Depends on when the current AT setup dies.

Now back to your regularly scheduled topic of who...er...what Sarah Burke rides.
