I live in Utah, so not going.

But, I'd like to welcome yourself, MFI and especially NursKris back into the fold.

Feel welcome here, I can't guarantee that they won't laugh at any pics though. But, most of us like ya'.

What's the trip like from the Evil Empire? How would one get there were he/she not to have access to an automobile?
You know, there's like a butt-load of gangs at this school. This one gang kept wanting me to join because I'm pretty good with a bowstaff.

Ahhhhhh, the Avalon in Beantown! Many drunken-drug infused memories from that ballroom. It's been 6 years or so since I've been back, but is it still happening?

That was one funny thread, you gotta admit. I have heard they discontinued the Chamonix Fartbag Festival however..

I should be there. Went to the one last year and had a blast. You could barely move it was so packed last year. A good time was had by all, especially JFrizzo. I think that was right before he became a Utard.

All you guys that are in that area should go to this show. It is going to be pretty insane.

Corey and Steve from the home office are going to be there as well as Micah, Sage, Nobis, Burks, Charlette, Jamie Pierre, Andy Woods, and possibly a few more.

Rahzel is playing afterward. It is going to be a great show.

You had better get your tickets early though because it will sell out.

    You can get them at:

    http://www.nextticketing.com/avalon2.html

Here are the specifics of the show:

    New York City

    Nov. 21 at Avalon NYC

    Post Party Entertainment: Rahzel

Doors at 8pm tickets in advance are at www.nextticketing.com

Cheers and have a bloody for me at JG Melon's the next morning.

Hey Bob, hoping to come out to SLC sometime in March, gotta make it a yearly thing now.
Honc, confused about post. Don't you live in NY?
I think this is a must go to. Hell, Nobis and Black will be there, good enough for me!
Two more weeks to go for slide time, weather permitting of course.
Damn, just read about the Utah summit. Going to Sunshine Village in Jan. Have to see about this. A 3 day blast might be possible.

    Still don't know. $20+ cover, $6 beers...
When it's cheaper to get the DVD I feel stupid not doing that. Besides, Limelight is so '89.

Ah, you're there more for the crowd and experience than anything else. You can't get that with a DVD. Besides, Moats, Black and Nobis will be there too. Are you jaded because you've just met Stein???

This time I should make pregame, I probably won't have the groupees with me this time

I thought this was the Hoboken one. I am < bright.
Here are my thoughts so far:
    1) $20 is a lot of bling.
    2) $6 is a lot for frat water.
    3) Charlotte is going to be there.

If Charlette is not worth $26 to anyone in this room I think we should have a chat.

Also, being a Friday night in America, if you are planning on spending the evening in the Evil Empire, you are certain to be out a substantial sum of cash regardless.

A money-saving alternative: We pregame at my place and go from there. I am stoked to buy beers and some grub and we can kick back chez-Honc for a few hours and then make our move. This gig sounds like a great time and I am definitely going; I'd love to arrive en masse, maggot-style. I have yet to meet any NYC mags and this opportunity sounds strong, to quite strong.

$20 for High Life on the big screen, plus the TGR all-star team (save ONS, of course), tough to pass on.

    Thoughts???

Honc, I think this is a must go. You could probably keep it to about 50 to 60 bucks for the whole night. Thats cheap for NYC. Only happens once a year so what the hell. Cosidering how much this summer sucked I'm game for anything.
Dex, I think it will be money well spent. A good way to kick off the season. Having fun with this wind storm going on now, 50 mph in my back yard.

Hair ruined on the walk to work. Sheesh. Can't even fight this breeze with excess product.

MFI--it's on for next friday. We will make plans next week.

You were with JFrizzo, I'm amazed I didn't meet you. He's the only person who ever used the change for a nickle line with me.

Also I got an e-mail from the guys that promoted last year's event, it looked like it was only $10 if you got your ticket in advance.

I got there late so I couldn't find him, just heard about the aftermath that ensued. I did meet a few maggots there but forgot their names, were off to Cham for the winter to skibum.

I don't think we can get that kind of deal this time, it's a bigger venue and on a Friday this time. Looks like 20 is the going rate.
