EC Getting Back on Track (Jay Jan 16)

As we are wont to do, Mit and I hit up Jay Peak today. Steady snow fall throughout the weekend had led to significant accumulation and the trend continued all day. To be sure, the base was still fast and hard, but somehow we were able to make the best of the more mellow glades offered before us. Surprising lack of crowds made it the ideal day to take it easy and capture a bit of the fun for posterity. End result: a couple minutes of decent footage, a handful of decent pics (Mit's got 'em) and a few mysterious cuts and bruises. The day = success.

(once again, the file is big and not super gnar, gnar nor is it worthy of multiple exclamations of "boner city.")

    I like to ski.

Sick and ashamed and happy (and ignore the date on the video - I'm having a hard time adjusting to the new year),

Mit's super busy at work today (poor guy), but he sent me these two shots.

Fancy camera work brings my line together.

    Not bad.

KMart was suprisingly good today. First time I felt more than a few inches of real snow under my feet, and the manmade was a lot of fun with the cold temps.

Where was everybody? National holiday, and nobody there (although Vermont doesn't have a lot of MLK celebrators). Not that I'm complaining.

Hit the K yesterday BP...found 98% firm everywhere except for the spine on the edge of trails...at least those were fun. No holiday here cept for banks and POs..school was off though come to think of it.

I understand that the video is large, but the answers you seek may be contained within...

SaAaH (and, failing that, the two pics might give a hint),

    Nice pics!

And excellent use of the word "wont," I'd like to add.
