Just got back from an awesome trip to Oooohtah. The excellence was made possible by the efforts of many:
RTP and Crash'nburned - for picking me up at the airport, letting me stay in their hotel room and giving me a ride back and forth from Alta. Two standup maggots.
Str8line - for putting together a sweet maggot camp. By the end of sunday I had that feeling I get when I complete something epic with a bunch of people. Hard to explain, but it's a great feeling.
Maggot Campers - for the entertainment, inspiration, enthusiasm, and for humbling me. Observation; we maggots are a sucessful bunch (at least the campers I met are).
Non-camper maggots - for added good times. I don't remember who it was that blasted by us and yelled "got change for a nickel?!" while we were doing a warm up run with Will Burks, but that totally got me stoked and proud to be associated with hard-chargers like that.
The maggot camp coaches - mainly just for doing the camp. It was awesome to ski with a bunch of rockstars! Skiing with them would be like playing ball with Jordan or golfing with Tiger. All the coaches were awesome but Chris Collins and Rick Greener (Mister Dick Bittermeyer himself) get bonus points for being totally cool to hang out with. They were like a couple college buds. I don't typically hit it off that well with people I just met. Only complaint was no residual booty. Isn't that a standard perk for getting to hang out with rockstars?
My non-maggot friend and his brother's friend - for inviting me and letting me stay at his condo during the remainder of my trip (even if he was kinda annoying and a total gaper).
My friend's cousin - for showing us around Brighton on the day of the best snow during my trip. Definitely would not have known all the cool lines that existed without him. Bonus points for the free wings and Cutthroat, which packs a good buzz when you're at 8500 feet.
