Floor space in Revy with friendly mags/scandis, colaboration on storm chasing

    Hey All

I am a skier from Seattle Washington who has appreciated the Revel-Stoke every time I have gotten to sample it. I have a pass in Seattle this winter, but I am fun-employed, so pretty much free to roam. I am looking to chase storms, and Revy seems to be one place where they hit a lot.

I am wondering if there are any Revy mags who would be welcoming enough to let me sleep on their floor for a night or two here and there. I am open to chipping in by cooking dinners, cleaning, chopping wood, throwing down on groceries/beer, and driving/setting the skin track up in Rogers. I would also really appreciate an address to use to get the Lake Louise Plus card, which will give me 3 free days at Revy and the Horse. I am also looking to meet mags here and there who are up for the random road trip to chase snow

I love people and making new friends. I am laid back and do not "party" really, but no worries if you do. I like to write, paint, take photographs, dance, and shred deep pow. Holler if we can connect this winter. Thanks

    Shanti

Hey man, I know we've communicated before, but let me know when you might want to go a road-tripping'. I've been thinking that I would take some time off this winter to chase some storms myself. I've been wanting to get out to Jackson Hole and interior BC myself (Revy, Kicking Horse, Whitewater, etc).

Good luck finding some floor space! For whatever reason, the Hook Up forum doesn't seem to attract much attention these days.

If interested in storm chasing west to east from seattle I like to hit the smaller Idaho, Montana resorts for cheap lift tickets, accessable hiking, and dump days, especially when the big storms with the resort closing winds affect the cascades. pm at appropriate times and carpool etc.

Which resorts are you thinking off when you say this? Whitewater has a totally sick and very easy to access sidecountry, and cheap lift tickets, but I am up for checking new places out if you know where to find the goods.

Anybody else interested in trip collaboration? I'd be so stoked if somebody who lives in BC would PM me their address so that I can say I'm living there temporarily and buy a Lake Louise card for Revy. Again, I don't need to submit the address in the initial purchase. I would just keep it handy so that should some ticket office worker ask for confirmation/documentation I can have an address to give.

I am willing to pay for this favor too, as well as for floor space anywhere for a few nights in Revy, Golden, or Nelson. Thanks

Bumping this thread again. It'd be great to have some ski buddies at the very least up in these parts. No obligations, just looking for maggots who are interested in long walks along the Illecillewaet banks, and skiing the gnar.

So today is the day. I am leaving Seattle for Revy in about an hour. Can't wait to get up there and ski with all the pow-chasers who call Revy home.

I'll be crashing in my car tonight most likely, unless any revy locals wouldn't mind sharing a few feet of floor space. I'd be much obliged. PM me if you wouldn't mind a couch surfer for a night or two. Thanks!
