OK folks, Central Oregon Avalanche Association is hosting it's first two Know Before You Go avalanche awareness seminars this month at Good Life Brewing in Bend.

Tuesday, December 6th at 6:30 pm - skier/boarder focus
Wednesday, December 14th at 6:30 pm - snowmobiler focus

This 75 minute presentation, based on the program developed by the Utah Avy Center, hits the high points regarding safe travel, factors to consider, and crucial equipment.

We'll also have BCA tech rep Betsy Norsen to show us the latest BCA gear, including the Float packs, which we will blow up to see how they work.

So join us, have a beer or 4, and get learned up on the basics of safe BC travel.
