need to fix damage to skl

I noticed some damage to my ski and am looking for advice.

The area in quiestion is about 2" in length. The first inch has the edge pushed slightly below the base. The second inch has a paper thin space between the edge and the top part of the ski.

Was thinking of filling the space with epoxy but not sure if anything can be done with the pushed down base.

Ok here is what you need to do. But this edge will always be an outside edge. First get a hair dryer, thin wood shives, plumbers epoxy, plastic ready grip hand vice.

Heat the edge that is pushed down and back with a hair dryer. Use the wood shives to bring the pushed edge gradually back to level with the base. Work on this first. Do not force it. Take your time. After you have it back to almost level. Then work on bringing the other gapping edge back. Heat that edge and clamp it back with your hand vice clamps.

Keep the wood shives and clamp in place for a couple of hours. Then remove the wood shives. Fill in that area with the plumbers epoxy. But keep that clamp on the edge that pulled away. Let the epoxy set over night. The next day place another clamp on the outside of the edge you set the epoxy in last night. And fill additional epoxy in and re-clamp that area. Let it set. It will get that area solid again, but it will never really be an edge you can put alot of force on.
