    Atomic Binding Question

So I just got my hands on a pair of Atomic R:1018 bindings to mount on my spatulas. They have wide brakes but I need to bend them just a little more to get them to fit on the ski. However, these being my first atomics coupled with my being a jong in general, i cant figure out how to get the brakes seperated from the rest of the heelpiece. Any suggestions?

First split the heal/toe.....center screw releases the two halfs...slide heal out...brake is now atched to the heal plate...4 screws atach this to the ski...you now have the brake free from the ski and the rest of the binding....personally I would just put a suitable piece of plumbing over the brake, stand on it and apply the necessary preasure.
