I posted something about it the other night, but it seems that the computer gnomes ate it when the database was transfered.

This year's winning films were some of the best i have ever seen.
Sister Extreme was a gut wrenchingly funny mockumentary on mountaineering(with a lot of local jokes). Eiger Nordwand was an incredibly intense movie about a swiss and czech climber who climbed the North Face of the Eiger using the same style gear as the original party did in 1936. "Between a Rock and a HArd Place" is about caving. I never knew caving could be so intense, but if you are even slightly clausterphobic this films is guaranteed to scare the shit out of you.

My personal favourite was the Grand Prize winner. "The Other Final" is a heart touching story about a soccer match which occured on the same day as the World Cup Final in Japan. Bhutan and Montserrat are the lowest ranked teams on the FIFA world rankings and they battled it out on a pitch in Bhutan. Movies like this make you really appreciate what amateur sports are all about.

If you have a chance to see the Best of the Fest World Tour, do it.
You will not be dissapointed.

I went to it last year when it came through salt lake. Pretty cool overall, and you had to love that urban ape dude.
