Ok, I have a question. I bought this vape thing at one of the new stores in Mass.. I'm not much of a smoker anymore, prefer edibles for the high, discreetness, and health reasons (I don't think any kind of smoking is good, but, if someone passes me a pipe, especially if she's naked, yeah, wtf?). But, hey, I was curious. Nice supplement to edibles. One good hit at the end of an edible buzz is nice.
Anyway, does this thing look familiar? Is it some manufacturer's that they put their logo on? Any suggestions on using it if you have one, or something similar? My last question is, since the cartridge is held in with a magnet, will it pop out easily, and can it get turned around upside down in my pocket and not leak? I'm a vape Jong.

That vape appears to be made by a company called Theory Wellness a Massachusetts based company. It is designed to work with their glass tanks and appears to be mainly marketed for medical marijuana. I'm not sure why they preface it as medical but it looks like they may have started as a medical mj company - maybe they still are but in any case what you use it for, medical or recreational makes no difference.

I believe a great many vape pens use magnets. Mine does not. Mine has a glass tank that screws into the rechargeable battery. Doubt you will have leakage issues. The part of the cart that holds the oil is not open to the mouth piece nor is the bottom of the cart open. Oil is heated by an element contacting the bottom of the cart and vapor is drawn through carbs (that's the best I can explain it - here is a technical explanation of how vape pens work).

Here is the company information on the T Pen Go.

Looks like it is designed for entry level and ease of use. One negative is there is no choice of heat setting but at $20 I'm not surprised. Also, I assume the glass tanks are not refillable.

<shrug> If it works and you like it s'all good.

Ok, that's the company I bought it from. I assumed they weren't big enough to manufacture their own device, and just put their name on somebody else's device. I guess not. Is it a toy, relatively speaking? It works, and is a nice size, so, wtf. Still worried about it getting jostled around in a pocket on the ski hill.

Man, that place is an awesome business right now. 3-4 hour waits on weekends.

No, Benny. Those units usually have a metal ring on the threads, however, and you need to take it off and save it for your next cart.

In other news, it's been recently discovered that the Chinese made carts (all) have lead issues because a couple terpenes in virtually all oils dissolve the lead and it goes up in the smoke.

I doubt a few hits from a vape will do Benny in. More likely a jealous husband gets him.

Which is also probably unlikely but hey you never know.

Then there are all those chemicals I willingly and eagerly put into my body in years prior. Men seem to die younger in my fam as well. So, well, I've got today at least.

They did this one not too far from here. A lot of people in that area have cancer for some reason.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Project_Rio_Blanco
Project Rio Blanco was an underground nuclear test that took place on May 17, 1973 in Rio Blanco County, Colorado, approximately 36 miles (58 km) northwest of Rifle.[2]

Three 33-kiloton nuclear devices were detonated nearly simultaneously in a single emplacement well at depths of 5,838, 6,230, and 6,689 feet (1,779, 1,899, and 2,039 m) below ground level. The tests were conducted in fine-grain, low-permeability sandstone lenses at the base of the Fort Union Formation and the upper portion of the Mesaverde Formation.

    But we digress...

No one is trying to convince you of anything but it would be nice if you'd get off your high horse about it. We know how you feel.

Au contraire. I think that with the number of stoners here, his input is very relevant.

Maggot Puma showed me his over Xmas. He learned of it from NoPostholio.
They seem to come highly rated, although stoner reviewers on the interwebz seem to like everything they touch. Word is Aristech does a huge business as an OEM.
    Dimensions about 1.5x3x1/2" thick.
Pretty cheap - $46.97 delivered on Amazon (not Prime).
    Ceramic bowl, only for flower.
Heats up fast, controllable temps in both C and F. Flashes while heating up, constant light when at temp - much easier to read than G-pen in the sunlight
Battery life seems good. I'm getting 7-8 full vape cycles (to auto-shutoff) in one charge
Bowl is kind of small compared to my old G-pen but I'm convinced from experience thus far that I can load enough to keep four people baked for six hours.
Must wait until Monday to test in snow/cold. Stay tuned.

Update - Monday test with jonesy and gepmeow found excellent battery life, tasty pulls and easy handling with gloves in temps of 15F. Thumbs up

Hey now, I also grabbed one of these sweet little units. I was curious to see if technology is making inroads in vape tech. I’m here to tell you, it has! This rig is clean, so simple, so tasty and most importantly, so freaking heady. I get high as fuck from this unit. And the fact that I purchased it on amazon made it even better, so easy.
Highly, and I do mean, highly, recommend this product.
