Trump is going to take the weed issue from the dems along with all the credit.

Its not like his base will jump ship over Cannabis reform.

Which is interesting because the Jeff Sessions/Mike Pence faction of his base is 100% opposed to anything that legalizes the demon weed. I guess those folks have made a deal with the debil. Maybe fissures will develop and erode the base. A boy can dream.

So now we have 33 states with legalized medical marijuana, five more and we're over the top for state ratification of an amendment to the constitution making at least medical marijuana legal nation wide.

Voters Relax Marijuana Laws In 3 More States: Michigan, Utah, Missouri

This quote really says something but it is in keeping with the oddity that is Utah as they were the tipping point for repealing prohibition:

In Utah, Gov. Gary Herbert and key legislators already were working to frame a medical marijuana bill that is similar to Proposition 2, with the intention of passing it regardless of how Tuesday's vote turned out, Utah Public Radio reports. Those backing the plan to approve medical use include the Mormon church.

Federal legalization of medical will happen before then IMO.

Good for UT and MIch! My state is still firmly planted that cannabis is the most awful thing for the human race...right next to illegal opioids. WY also really likes extra revenue from busting personal users coming across the CO boarder.

Yanno.... WY seems like such a cool state with so much wonderful going on within its borders but for the people in charge. Might as well be Mississippi. Same goes for Idaho.

Very true. Conservative, good ole boy mindset in most areas of WY. The teton area is one of the few exceptions in the state. Is what it is. Even though we might be the last state to legalize weed, I still dig living where I do.

Slow your role there super chief, unfortunately the bad parts of Sessions being forced out outweighs what is presumed but not yet proven to be a safer environment in which to exhale judge clouds of reefer smoke. It would be premature to sing ding-dong the witch is dead. Even though we really want to.

They were probably all on a "vacation" in Colorado and really high when they wrote it up.

Lol the tax revenue they'd gain with legalization on either level would make the busts look like pocket change. So short sighted.

I doubt they make any revenue off of busts. How much is the ticket? There are a lot of expenses involved in writing ticket and processing it.

Any growers have any experience with Cali Connections pre 98 Bubba Kush?

I was in CO a couple weeks ago and grabbed this strain from Green Dragon (don't know what co. the seeds or clones were from) and it flat knocked me on my ass. Like, smoked something maybe like a size up from a pinner outside my hotel, walked into the lobby and it was getting so intense I couldn't deal with the line at the elevator so I took the stairs. By the last few steps to the third (!) floor I was holding onto the wall for support, not thinking I was going to make it to my room..

What followed was near-anxiety-attack-producing-insanity - it just got heavier and heavier for a solid 45 minutes. Plateaued and everything was just golden. Was literally giggling to my lonesome self checking out my room and watching shit tv.

I know this strain game is beyond hit or miss but thinking of growing something like this. I can get Cali connections pre 98 Bubba Kush seeds locally and am seeing some seriously mixed thoughts on their genetics. They aso advertise it as high CBD - but when I think I CBD I automatically assume that means low THC..

Anyone grow Bubba Kush (pre 98 or not) and have any input?

    thanks!!

the pre-98 is some sticky, trippy indica. Too bad you had an anxiety attack. I'm usually too busy oozing into a sofa to worry about anything.

Bubba Kush grows short and squat. It grows well in a sea of green, and doesn't like high temps. Trim out the understory pretty ruthlessly. I grew two crops of it, with like 4 clones vegged for three weeks then scrogged. I got somewhere in teh 14-16 oz range of bud doing that, and I'm the world's laziest trimmer.

Ironically, In Oregon, MMJ may become a historical footnote. Legalization made the cost of gettng a green card way more than just paying the rec tax. The number of MMJ licenses and cards have gone way down, to the point the State is talking about killing the medical program.
