I might have mentioned it, but I think we were talking about this movie - the first two minutes will blow you away in the context of the "war on drugs" - must see for sure.

This is the start of it - pretty fucked up, but the movie as a whole is powerful stuff if you like a good documentary. Spanish subtitles for our friends south of the wall.

i read the report.....maybe people caught the vibe out of context because they used some 1970s stock footage., but later Hickenloper was allow to make some great points and show how mature the industry actually is.

John Hickenlooper who showed up at the Flaming Lips concert down in Salida and walked onstage with a gaggle of huge psychedelic mushroom people.......it was awesome

People in other states have no clue.......it is like disneyland for tourists here...

Yeah, it was one sided. They had a Dr (relatively young guy too) that is the head of newborn baby pediatrician ? or whatever it's called. Anyway, all he said is that there is a higher occurrence of THC in newborns now. Of course they gave no data and have no data on what the effect is. And where is the comparison to alcohol and opioids...they didn't mention either. Anyone with a clue knows that a expected mom and breastfeeding mom should stay as clean as possible...just dumb.

Then they focused on the black market and showed busting 'mob' related growing. Wtf does that have to do with legalization? They made is seem like legalizing it gave the mob a reason to go there and grow.

They showed the preview during the Patriots game and it was supposedly about the states about to vote, so I was intrigued to watch. It was nothing about those states and only focused on Pueblo CO, which is apparently voting to make MJ illegal for growing and selling.

Oh yeah, and they mentioned 'overdoses' on edibles.

It was really bad. Reefer madness.

I honestly do not know how MA or ME will vote. I haven't heard much, but my guess is the ME should go easily, but MA I have not idea. I live 15 minutes for both borders, so personally I will be happy if either one goes, but ideally both just for the overall cause.

Heavy weather in Cali over the weekend. Almost all of the girls are out of the hoopies and in hanging the barn.

I'm feeling good. After almost ten years of traveling around to different gardens all over the state I'm now working for a couple of big time farmers close to home. Instead of being away for 6-8 weeks I'm home. I drive 5 miles. I'm able to drop off my kids at school in the morning and pick them up in the afternoon. Good money. Good benefits. And some great weed!

The consumers have debated for years - they want it legal. Everywhere. Now.

Growers don't want legalization. They didn't want it in CO either.

Not a surprise, it's easy money. (for the growers)

More regulation, means more regulation. That's what happens when something becomes legal.

Sorry stainless, but no one cares about the growers. I just want the ability to walk into a store in town and walk out with product.
Who grows it and where it comes from doesn't mean shit to me.
I grew up on Mexicali brick weed.

I don't live in CA, nor do I grow in that capacity. I grow good weed.

Just giving a condensed version of the opposition. Those "growers" are mainly shit show operations, that send you, your weed.

I used to have a grow in Healdsburg. Hopefully it will pass, and the rest of the states follow suit.

Really, how hard is it to grow a weed?
Let's be serious, yes yer nuggs are some of the best I've ever seen.
But I won't pay more than $200 on a zipper, no matter how good it looks.

I've been growing for over 20 years, so I've got the hang of it. Give it a try and report back.

If you won't pay more than 200, then you are part of the Livwell 99 dollar oz special crew. 121 out the door, on Broadway in Denver. That's the future of legal Cannabis.

Cannabis that would test at the same levels as mine, will run you top dollar. Double what you pay now. Green Solutions will charge 35/grm. Natural Remedies 50/8th + tax.

    35 a gram?
    Slow yer roll cowboy!
No one in the history of weed has ever paid $35 for a g.
Prices are going down, not up.
Who needs to pay extra for weed that tests at 90%, when weed that tests at 60% is more than enough for old brick heads like myself.
Move east stainless. Yer skills will pay you well in Massachusetts.

Not my roll, slow Green Solutions roll. The biggest outfit in Denver next to Native Roots.

Even at 8/grm which is the industry standard for mediocre pot, you are paying 271 w/tax.

    Pricing is right here: https://www.tgscolorado.com/flowers?...ice&p=3&store=

Ive seen MK Ultra for 35 there plenty of times. Tons of dispos have "top shelf" for 15-20grm.

200 dollar ounces are likely soaked with Eagle 20 and Avid.

    Industry standards? Please stop.
The link you showed has many tasty looking nuggs for 5g.
And you assuming that the cheap nuggs are swimming in a toxic stew is spurious at best.
Is there a standard for checking those levels? Fuck no there isn't.
When it pops in Kali, Mass and Maine, forget about it. Zippers of quality nuggs will go for $100

I need to try to find the article where the guy from Maine who would be in charge of the rec program said he wasn't equipped to handle it.

No shit Sherlock - poach a couple dudes from CO or WA and shut your yap and grow weed.

    Here it is -

Livwells 99 dollar ounce might represent a quality nug to you, it does not to me.

    Cheap weed is cheap weed.

    http://www.cnn.com/2015/11/25/us/col...cides-testing/

The pot concentrate sample showed imidacloprid levels of 100 parts per million, a level Perrone says is extremely high. "In this case, I would immediately recall that sample and destroy that entire batch."That dispensary owner was shocked by the high levels of imidacloprid in the product he was selling, saying "that's sounds awful." He immediately pulled the products from his shelves and reported the results to the state.
Because of the CNN testing, officials launched an investigation, which led to a voluntary recall last week of 2,362 pot products including 23 different types of pot concentrates, all made from marijuana grown and distributed by Tru Cannabis.
