Oh boy, the old white guys aren't going to like this - the balls on these young whippersnappers under 70....

"In what advocates describe as an historic first, a trio of senators plan to unveil a federal medical marijuana bill Tuesday.

The bill, to be introduced by Senators Rand Paul (R-Ky.), Cory Booker (D-N.J.), and Kirsten Gillibrand (D-N.Y.), would end the federal ban on medical marijuana and implement a series of reforms long sought by advocates. They include downgrading its status with the Drug Enforcement Agency from Schedule 1 to Schedule 2, allowing doctors to recommend its use in some cases to veterans, expanding access to researchers and making it easier for banks to provide services to the industry."

Been a bit since I've been on TGR and especially in the Weed topic but I had a question for you mags.

Now I know medical has been discussed quite heavily in here but searching just led me to a bunch of people arguing. My dad was diagnosed with an extremely aggressive glioblastoma (brain tumor) which is in an odd place in the brain. Surprisingly glioblastoma is actually one of the few cases of cancer that some mmj studies have occurred and actually found (in some cases)as a semi successful addition to chemo and radiation. While that is great and all, I am more interested in helping my dad get a better nights rest and a more stable appetite and mindset. The issue is, as of right now hes not really interested in burning one down and getting really stoned, but open to anything that will help. Is this a case where cbd is going to be a bigger help than the thc? Do they make edibles that focus more on the other cannabinoids rather than the thc? Also since we are in WY I was wondering if anybody had any really good doctors(that are mmj knowledgable) or dispensaries that focus on treatment, strains, and methodology of mmj in colorado. Just looking to help him in anyway possible while he goes through this really shitty turn in life.

    Thanks
    Luke

Sorry to hear about your Dad. That's tough. I think some of our resident dope scientists should have an answer for you. I believe that what you're looking for is out there and can help but don't have specific knowledge myself, sorry.

My MMJ place in Montana labels all there products with both THC content and CBD content. I do know they have at least one oil that has under 1 percent THC but over 70 percent CBD.

    Vibes to your Dad.

"The recent signing of a medical marijuana bill by GOP Sens. Rand Paul and Dean Heller hasn’t gone unnoticed. Republican Majority Whip Steve Scalise has introduced a poll on his website, asking people to vote on whether marijuana should be legalized on the federal level."

^^^^Mmmmm, love the smell and taste of a nice oil based hash. LukeS, I don't sleep well anymore and my wife makes muffins for me with butter she cooks up from our trimmings. When I eat half a muffin, I am out. That said, look into some edibles for your pops. Tell the vendor you want it for sleep, pain and helping his appetite. I am sure they have a few products that would help. The very best to your Dad, you and your family.
Never in U.S. history has the public chosen leadership this malevolent. The moral clarity of their decision is crystalline, particularly knowing how Trump will regard his slim margin as a “mandate” to do his worst. We’ve learned something about America that we didn’t know, or perhaps didn’t believe, and it’ll forever color our individual judgments of who and what we are.

Luke S - the Harlequin strain in an edible might be what your dad needs. Guy I know is growing it for a cancer patient.
Produces about 5 parts CBD to 2 parts THC. Get him a little baked, improve his appetite, make him sleepy.
Vibes to him, and to you. You are a good son.

Anyone have any good recs for a direct draw (no button) 510 e cig battery? Bought some on eBay but usually half the batch are duds - was thinking the legit oPen batteries might be worth trying as they are advertising free lifetime replacement. Seems like way to go if ur mmj joint stocks them as they supposedly will swap them out on spot for you.
20$ doesn't seem bad if they do replace w/o issue

To expand upon this, curious if folks that are buying 1/2 g carts from disp are using the small e cig battery (~300 mah) or a bigger battery with push button. I was speculating that I had wrecked some carts by using the bigger battery, but it could have been some other dumbness.
