I'm kinda disappointed with the flowers in WA. Clean for now trying to find a job but all the flavors I tried seemed pretty mediocre. The smell look and taste was great but the effects were sorta meh.

That's interesting. I was actually wondering the same as the batch of Critical Skunk I got was super stinky and the taste was awesome, but the high was short and shallow.

You have to wonder how all this will take shape in the future. I would assume that the growing environment will have a lot to do with the effects. So, say Critical grown in Humboldt outside vs some warehouse in CO or WA is going to be different and will the packaging be marked with it's origin.

When you buy stuff now does it tell you anything aside from the strain?

I'm clean for now. The oil thing is intriguing but fuck paying ~$200 for a fucking apparatus. I'll pay $4 for a bat or $10 for a glass bowl if I'm smoking. I've hit a vape once and wasn't impressed although I'm sure they are great.

As far as regional variability goes I think it has less to do with genetics and more to do with technique. But I've found nothing in WA that was as good as an average bag in AK. We did have a 40 year head start though with the Ravin decision back in the 70s though.

Not that there's not some killer bud here just haven't found any. Strain is the only info I've gotten no location or potency. The best pot I ever smoked came out of a basement in Pasagshak on Kodiak broke it open and it was like a geode of crystals fucking insane.
