I'm not a huge fan of all the butane extracts, but I would be interested in trying one of those newfangled cartridge devices out. Seems like a great alternative for when you don't want to smell like you just diddled a skunk.

The biggest downside I see to the rise in popularity of that stuff is that even fewer people than before are making ice water and dry ice hash. Sure, they aren't quite as pure or potent, but the complexity of flavor and the depth of the high is nicer. I get that the yield is lower than with butane, but who cares.

I'm not into making butane products myself. I'll stuck to dry ice. I have a friend who blowed herself up last week. No bueno.

Still have not tried smoking/vaping butane products. I like my kief and flowers. The marketing joke around the farm is "nobody smokes flowers anymore". Yeah write.

Yields testing the product might be lower, but consuming the product, transforms it instantly to a much richer over all vape. Flavors.....flavors...

Water and ice as the solvent and bags as the "extractor" is 100% better than alcohol, butane, or any other retarded crack head version...IMO.

This lines up with what I've seen in person and online/print. The most common % I've seen for BHO variants is something in the 70s, although some are higher. Pressed hash iirc is right about 30-50%, bubble/ice another 10-15% higher than pressed.

I agree 100%. The best product I have ever had the pleasure of smoking was some pure Hindu Kush, pressed ice water hash. I would love to try some water hash produced from a pure Sativa cut, but the Hindu Kush high was a great balance of stress relief/body stone, without making you drool like a slackjawed idiot. It seems like many of the modern indica crosses are too stupefying. I enjoy that full body stone, but I still want to be able to form a coherent sentence.

I thought maybe the 4 temps might be the one downside, but if you hover btwn 3&4 you can fine tune as needed.

Stopped in one of the newer retail stores in Seatown, Ganja Goddess, on my way to a poker game Friday for the hell of it. Surprised at the a amount and variety of product. Picked up a little Sour Diesel for the night. As nice as it is to walk into retail, $25 a gram is silly. Any locals with recommendations for getting a cheap green card?
