My bad shroom, didn't realize you were talking about a legit operation. I'm just bitter because my new sack smokes harsh and tastes like fertilizer.

These guys are going through a lot of effort for a good cause, fighting the bullshit. Why would the IRS offer a penalty reduction to a "cartel owner"? Maybe because it's a usurious way to approach tax policy in the first place..

"the IRS made an offer of $100,000 to settle their tax case. But she said they decided to challenge the demand in court because they considered it a punitive tax against cannabis outlets that other businesses do not pay."

The IRS has used the Reagan-era tax code, known as 280E, to seek tax penalties against numerous California dispensaries under the argument that their business expenses constitute support of drug-trafficking operations.

potentially - at first glance yes. Like a coffee shop or brewery the product is only as good as the staff that produces and handles it. I've been very impressed with the quality at RMR in Steamboat and Golden Leaf too. The northglenn shop by the main highway north of Denver is so much less trustworthy from experience. I had to directly ask four times to see the full selection of o-pen cartridges (they had 20+ strains but lady was trying to sell me generic hybrid cartridges). In contrast, tenders at RMR or GL will explain the nuances that differentiate Maple Leaf from Cherry Slyder, two of their in house strains with very specific flavor profiles. I like reading the reviews on the Cannabist/DenPost because they call out shops for being honest about product and aren't afraid to call out frauds in the industry. Random edibles testing is a great example of the quality of their reporting.

Not yet. I'm only getting in a few pages a night due to 4:20 and/or happy hour IPA. That book is amazing. The fact that we tested THC to be used as chemical warfare. 50sec mark -

    Very true.

My MMJ place in Bozeman got me hooked up on oil a few weeks back. I love it. Between edibles and oil, no more smoking for me.

Oxford names 'vape' 2014 Word of the Year

The Oxford Dictionaries named "vape" 2014's Word of the Year.

Oxford defines the verb as "to inhale and exhale the vapour produced by an electronic cigarette or similar device." It was added to the dictionary in August. Vape can also be used as a noun for the e-cigarette and for the act of inhaling itself.

"You are thirty times more likely to come across the word vape than you were two years ago, and usage has more than doubled in the past year," Oxford explained on the OxfordWords blog announcing the decision.

    Runners up included:

Budtender: n. a person whose job is to serve customers in a cannabis dispensary or shop.

I did google it. Are these different than the oil vape my MMJ dude sold me ? It is about the size of a cigar. Great battery life too, I charged it on Oct 30 and as of Nov 17 it is still going strong with daily use.

i easily qualify but haven't enrolled for a couple of reasons, but this is my hope -- all the benefits -- and i don't mean that flippantly -- and none of the toll on my lungs. i hope it happens soon.

that and targeted strains with some relative control to address particular issues.
