Walla Walla County has banned MJ while the city has finally seen the $$$$ and will be opening two stores.



We have prime agricultural land here but as I mentioned the county has banned MJ. There was an indoor operation all set to open within the city limits but people complained and the city shut them down. OH NO! THE CHILDREN! WE MUST PROTECT THEM FROM THE EVIL WEED! They screamed while sipping on their Bud Light. I felt really sorry for the owners - they did everything to get it going and make it secure and private but nooooooooooooooooooooo! Then 4 months later the city reverses itself (again) and says okay to retail stores. Wonder if they will let the grow operation start up after all. Idiots.



Wait until more Baby Boomers start retiring there, then the law will get passed.

It got passed with a higher percentage than any other med initiative in a red state mid term - 58% now is like 70% in a non fascist state / non mid term. Idk why it needed a super majority, but most likely some kind of anti devil's lettuce law of the 30's.

How do you figure, most came of age in the 60s and were full on swinging in the 70s not to mention the Vietnam war era. Baby Boomers span 1946 - 1964. My thinking is you need to get rid of the stodgy old east coast guard. That said, part of the problem in Florida was that legalizing medical MJ required amending the state constitution which meant they needed a 60% vote to pass - they only got 57%. Close but no spliff.

To be fair to the flo-ridas, the yes vote there for medical failed to get the necessary 60% super-majority but still pulled 58% in favor, so still a strong show of support.

to be fair, boomers rank second among voter generation segments opposed to MMJ/RMJ. They're majority for it, but it's not a landslide. Mid 50s/mid 40s last I checked. Florida reinforces this to a degree with 58% MMJ support. Boomers aren't as politically retarded as the silent generation, but they include quite a few tin hat morans.
