Sending PM, but to any other folks with input, here are my 2 basic Q's:
Water method (water/butter/kind, separate and drain) , vs. No water (double boiler, add kind right to butter).
and,
Is it necessary to decarboxylate herb first, or will that process take place when you cook with the butter? Just wondering if decarbing helps the initial bond to the butter...
I made 1 batch as an experiment with the double boiler/direct infuse method. Came out good, but really strong taste and deep green color that was not the greatest, imo. Used it to make caramels, and they were not easy to eat...

After struggling with some pH issues I feel like my ladies are finally turning the corner. New growth is looking really good and they're growing like weeds
I was on another forum where a guy asked for help identifying an unknown strain he was growing... Now I don't think you'd be able to say that's silver haze, or kush, or whatever, but I think you can at least call out Sativa or Indica... anyway, he posted some pics of his fan leaves and the guys said a leaf with 11 blades is rare and indicates good genetics. So I get home and take a look at one of my plants, and sure enough, 11 blades. I know the seeds I had came from a dispensary but I'm not sure the strain, but I was happy to hear this plant should have good genetics. I feel like it does, it's grown great big fat leaves done well no matter how much I've tried to fuck things up. Anyway, have you guys seen 11 blade fan leaves?
This is an older leaf that shows some of the issues I have having earlier...
Here she is in all her beauty
Her neighbor... this one really was slow growing and was maybe half the size of the other. Fixed the pH, gave her some good noots and she's as big as her sister now

Finally got a decent glass bong - what would the collective recommend for cleaning? I usually use a plastic one that gets all barnacled up like a coral reef - then toss it.

nah - some EC peeps are pretty legit, vacuum sealing and labeling. Same across the border in Massholio. I def know when it is not the OGK...
Tough part is someone solid - You need a rotation of like 5 peeps to always keep in stock.
