    Yes. Search super cropping.

OK, have done a bit of research. I think my girls are past the point of topping, as they're quite tall (~4-5') and just beginning to flower. Topping is done earlier in the growing period, not the flowering, correct? But super cropping is game on.

Is my logic sound or not? Thanks for any help.

Correct, to late on the topping. Bend, break (one side of the stem) and beat up until ~4weeks in to flower. These ladies are dirty and like it rough.

Correct. Topping and FIMing plants is done during veg. Pretty sure that you only want to super crop during veg or very very early into flowering as well

While we were in Yurp, we bought some seeds in Vienna Started them in a little solo cup 10 days ago, they have been up through the dirt for a week now.

Sorry for the jong question, but I have never grown from seed before.

When should we put them in more dirt and under the the grow light. Right now they are in a smaller tent under some cfl's. I have a 400 & 600 watt veg and flower lights. Should I start them under the 400 watt light next Monday? I have 4 little beauties that will be really good bud in time for ski season.

    Thx

We have had good luck growing in doors with no bugs. Wife wants to keep it that way. The seedlings have such skinny little stalks, maybe some light wind on them from a fan will help? They are growing well under a few cfls, but I want to fire up the HID. Just don't want the babies to get to hot under it in the tent. Maybe skip the tent, turn on a fan and just let them grow in my open closet with reflective mylar on the walls under the HID?

random question, how much should one expect to pay for a decent vaporizer and where is the best place to look. new landlord made a comment that she didn't care if we have bud in the house but she doesn't want to smell the smoke.

Gman, I bought my wife one of these a few years ago and she likes using it as it has a whip to hit off of rather than a bag like the Volcano. Also, it is less expensive for sure. http://www.ebay.com/itm/BRAND-NEW-20...item460cd5950c

The faster any state can legalize and bring it to market= more immediate profit and future business positioning and brand name legend status IMO.

The branding and distribution is such unknown territory

Alcohol was legal, then illegal, the legal again.

Is it only now do we see such an upturn in small boutique brands of liquor?

I imagine that would be the case with weed. But can we not imagine large bud procures that are way above the rest?

looking forward to "devils triangle" of legal weed on the EC with VT/ME/MA - Mass in particular would do well with Amsterdam E in Boston. I will personally be wheels down in either Denver or Seattle about a day after I can walk into a place and buy me a bag and be full on legit. That will be a very gratifying thing to see happen in my lifetime.

Thinking ME or VT, decriminalization was a huge move in VT. Shumlin is pushing for legalization next. Hopefully Mass and NH follows.

Good chance the next mayor of NYC pushes to do away with possession arrests all together, and support legalization as well.

Albany is still to full of old doods who never smoked up - the states that have taken the lead on this have legislatures that reflect the general public and are prob in the 40-60 yo range. Cuomo would have loved that feather in his cap though I think.
I would like the new mayor to take a lead on what the JD said and stop spending a majority of your resources busting people with a bag o weed -

Growing from seeds. Widest leaves I have ever seen on a plant. Any of you guys every grow weed that has really wide leaves? It is suppose to be some hybrid intica/sativa strain.

Google Mosquito Dunks. Also, a couple inches of perlite on the top of your plants medium will help. They live in the top two inches of your growing medium, and eat roots.

This is what I do as a preventative measure.

Doesn't seem to be a very Sativa heavy hybrid. Typically Indica plants will have wide stubby "fingers".

First make sure they are fungus gnats not root aphids. If they are gnats like bobby said perlite on top helps so does letting your medium dry our more between waterings. Never had luck with the mosquitoes dunks after infestation. Now for root aphids or a bad infestation of gnats I used gognats. That stuff has been a godsend for me. Ive been fighting root aphids for the past couple of grows and seemed to be loosing the battle this past grow. At week 1 of flower I bet there was tens of thousands of bugs. Azamax did nothing, sns nothing, gognats(cedar oil) dead all dead. Im scared to even write this because Im still a week from harvest. Literally overnight I went from total disaster about to chop garden to no bugs at all. Hoping they stay away for another 10 days.
