    My place just reeks
Never in U.S. history has the public chosen leadership this malevolent. The moral clarity of their decision is crystalline, particularly knowing how Trump will regard his slim margin as a “mandate” to do his worst. We’ve learned something about America that we didn’t know, or perhaps didn’t believe, and it’ll forever color our individual judgments of who and what we are.

    Looking good Zbo.

I use a couple of phresh filters, and run 8" fans on them. I then blast that air through a inline ozone generator, and out the back of the building.

    weed news

Colorado passed the regulations and taxes type stuff for our legal weed yesterday. The driving limits are also now clarified.

    up to 25% tax.

no incorporated collectives, all the weed will be government controlled, exactly (basically) like the MMJ.

Driving limits with active THC are now defined. It cut down on court costs and will help those poor fuckers who suck at driving prove they really just suck and it was not the shit they smoked last night.

real med information for the maggots driving in Colorado:

    1) THC can be metabolized out of the body in a few hours, yet THC-COOH can stay for weeks. They will not be testing for THC-COOH

    2) THC does not stay in your system after you come down. It is the chemical that is making you high. To say that your sober while THC is present is like saying your sober while drunk. THC-COOH and other metabolites can be present in your system for weeks after your last use, and do not impair you in the slightest. If you've ever been convicted of a DWI with only THC-COOH showing on the test, then you need to get a better lawyer. This bill will help prevent such cases from being tried.

    3) All the labs in the state that conduct testing on DUI blood are able, and required, to test for just the THC, and do not include the THC-COOH and other metabolites in those counts. They are actually measuring the THC. You don't have to worry about THC-COOH giving you a false positive for conviction purposes.

    4) You can currently be convicted of driving under the influence of THC. The charge is "Driving while Impaired" and the conviction requires that the court bring in a toxicologist to prove to the court that the THC levels present would have impaired you. All the toxicologists in the state will testify that at 5ng/mL you are impaired. It has been this way for years. In fact, at this point it is simply an expensive and time consuming routine. This bill will reduce the need to pay a toxicologist to sit on the state and repeat by rote what has been said for years.

    5) If you think driving while impaired won't can't cause an accident, then please... put down the bong and back away. You've gone past the point of self-medication and into the zone of fucking stupid. High or sober, we need you back here in the land of reasonableness.
    Terje was right.

^^ there is a saliva test used here in switzerland for several years. I haven't heard of anyone getting popped but doesn't mean its not happening. The swiss like to keep things like that quiet. Iirc, it was being done in central CH, prob between zurch and ski resorts on the weekends. You'll never get a random pull but if you got pulled for speeding or something else and they smell doobage, you could get tested. P.s. cigarette lighter adapters for vapes not a good idea.

Smoking Marijuana Causes ‘Complete Remission’ of Crohn’s Disease, No Side Effects, New Study Shows

    http://blog.sfgate.com/smellthetruth..._source=feedly

Marijuana – scientific name “cannabis” – performed like a champ in the first-ever placebo-controlled trial of the drug to treat Crohn’s Disease, also known as inflammatory bowel disease.

The disease of the digestive tract afflicts 400,000 – 600,000 people in North America alone causing abdominal pain, diarrhea (which can be bloody), severe vomiting, weight loss, as well as secondary skin rashes, arthritis, inflammation of the eye, tiredness, and lack of concentration.

Smoking pot caused a “complete remission” of Crohn’s disease compared to placebo in half the patients who lit up for eight weeks, according to clinical trial data to be published the journal Clinical Gastroenterology and Hepatology.

Researchers at Israel’s Meir Medical Center took 21 people with intractable, severe Crohn’s disease and gave 11 of them two joints a day for eight weeks. “The standardized cannabis cigarettes” contained 23 percent THC and 0.5 percent CBD (cannabidiol). (Such marijuana is available on dispensary shelves in San Francisco, Oakland, and other cities that have regulated access to the drug.) The other ten subjects smoked placebo cigarettes containing no active cannabinoids.

Investigators reported that smoking weed caused a “complete remission” of Crohn’s Disease in five of the 11 subjects. Another five of the eleven test subjects saw their Crohn’s Disease symptoms cut in half. Furthermore, “subjects receiving cannabis reported improved appetite and sleep, with no significant side effects.”

The study is the first placebo-controlled clinical trial to assess the consumption of cannabis for the treatment of Crohn’s, notes NORML. All of the patients had intractable forms of the disease and did not respond to conventional treatments. Still, the United States government claims that marijuana is as dangerous as heroin and has no medical use. U.S. Attorney Melinda Haag is waging a war on safe access to medical cannabis in the Bay Area.

Hey everyone. About to start a new round(hydro this time). Bugs have been the major issues of the past couple of grows. Room is being cleaned head to toe and bombed multiple times. I have clones(in rockwoold cubes) coming in on Monday. How should I treat the clones before bringing them into the clean room. There are no other plants in the room. Ive heard about dunking the whole plant(water and ?). Hopefully the plants are bug free but you never know.

    Thanks for any advise

No fuck around, Forbid 4f. Second best, Avid. Neem oil for organic. Best all out assault is a consistent combination of all rotating every 3 weeks. None for use during flower. Research the life cycle and treat accordingly.

Btw - you will most likely never be bug free if you keep outsourcing your clones.

I dip in forbid which you can find on ebay. Also dip in organic fungicide. Only when they're very young. Gonna have to figure an organic miticide but forbid is a flame thrower. I also sprinkle mosquito dunks on all my soil to take care of the gnats

Good question Bobby, my recommendations are for mites.

Yeah the bugs are a challenging part of growing anything, I have my plants outdoor with all my vegetable plants as well so aphid and spider mites are pretty much a weekly battle for me. I survived it all last year so I am going with the same approach this year, neem oil mixed with Dr Bronners peppermint soap & Captain Jacks spinosad for moth season. I did add some Insect Frass top soil as another level of defense but I am still battling aphids and spider mites, but mostly aphids.

I haven’t had many problems with my indoor crops, the neem oil and Dr Bronners seem to do the trick plus we are not importing clones but rather producing them ourselves (could be the difference maybe).

6 weeks from seed in the CA sun...

Great thread. Bobby you are the master.
I am having sensory overload trying to pick what seeds to order. It like trying to buy skis that you have never seen from the buyers guide. Too many choices and they all sound good. I want to use seed boutique or seedbay.
I would love a high quality weed that is not too tricky to grow, I always seem to have some kind of issue in the growing process. Large yeild a plus of course. An "up" high is preferred. Any sugestions would help, there is just too much to choose from. Thanks.

I prefer an Indica buzz over a Sativa high. My wife is exactly the opposite, so we grow both. Seems like the Indica plants are bushier and may yield more, but it really depends on what you like better buzz wise IMO. Just harvested 4 plants grown indoors and got at least a pound of really good weed. This is for personal consumption and gifts for friends, so we do a few grows a year. Growing indoors with quality soil, ph balanced water and nutrients has yielded some really good grows for us, using a 600 watt ballast.

It looks like I am going to go with C-99 X DC,White widow, Master Kush, and the Blubonic.

So am I supposed to send them a money order first then they mail the seeds when they get it? Odd they dont have a conversion from British Pounds I guess I can get that at the bank when I get the money order. It is a bit of trust on my end, but its not too much money if I get suckered.

I have grown off and on over the years and in fact just harvested last night, but I want to start all over as my stuff is just not up to todays super high standards. {pun intended} So new strains and improvements to the room while waiting. I hope to use the collective advise to do better. I deal with a super high humidity here in the rain forest of the northwest.

first off, it's easier to just get some clones locally. go get your medical card. if you're serious about seeds and getting some strain that isn't present around here go for it.

i went with seebay/botique. make a profile and place the order. print up the order sheet and stuff that and your money (use a money converter on the internet) into an envelope and send it to them with either a courier service (expensive) or guaranteed deliver (they have to sign for it) from the usps. then cross your fingers and hope that you just didn't throw away a few hundred dollars. mine took about a month to receive.

you know, now that I think about it......In 2007 I was having symptoms of crohn's and colitis, according the the specialist I saw...I also broke my neck and back about that time and as I was ordered to do nothing, and since I didn't feel like getting hooked on opiates, I partook 'medicinally' in the cannabis, frequently, and the C and C problems went away within a few months. I just thought whatever was ailing me had worked its way out of the system....guess I'll stay on the green, as a precaution....yeah, precaution.
