Again, the non smoker speaks the truth. Kill those lower buds. It's painful to do, but in the end they equate to shit.

    Bleach solution?
So ive been told by a couple of big growers(dispensary owners that they clean there room at least once a week with a weak bleach solution. They move the plants to one side clean then move everything over. Just wondering how much bleach per gallon I should use(tablespoon per gallon?). Ive been dealing with root aphids which are impossible to get rid of but have been managing them with pyrethian solution with clove, rosemarry, tyme, and cedar wood oils. I just hit them with a azamax drench but these fuckers are tough. Plants look great and are 7 days into 12/12( plants are -Blueberry x White rhino cross, Blueberry x purple kush cross).
probable going to bomb them tomorrow before buds start forming.

Dr. Doom fogger, then another Azamax treatment, then maybe some Forbid. Should work with both gnats and aphids.

I keep my rooms clean, and use preventative treatments, so I don't need to bleach that often.

After each grow, everything gets a clorox wash, then I use an atomizer to treat the entire room with Azamax.

Try what Zbo said too. The key is to keep switching up the treatment.

1/6 of a dunk per 5 gallon pot crushed up and sprinkled on top. Or a whole 1/6 on the bottom of your pot during transplant as maintenance.

Thanks for the replies. I just ordered the dunks. Room was bombed today with dr doom. How is forbid used it sounds like crazy stuff and super costly at $200 for 8 ounces? Bugs mainly appear on the floor and luckily not on the plants. They are not showing too many negative signs yet but I would love not to have to scrub the room daily with bleach. The room is obviously very clean with the scrubbing. This run is my first foray into LST which seems to be working great.

I've never had to actually use Forbid myself, I just know that it works. That's some pricey bug spray, though. Hope everything clears up for you.

Just wondering where the bugs come from if you're growing indoors from seed in a sterile mix like coco and perlite? (obviously they come from outside somehow but it seems kinda crazy that they get in there, no?)

Growing on hard woods like a fucking boss!

Those are some chunky looking nugs! I've got 10 or so White Fire OGs going right now, that look similar.

Guys, thinking of doing a Valentines Day harvest. Anything I need to be doing between now and then? 1st time jong.
For the next grow, do you think I can get four 5 gallon containers to grow under one 600 watt light?

    Thanks
Never in U.S. history has the public chosen leadership this malevolent. The moral clarity of their decision is crystalline, particularly knowing how Trump will regard his slim margin as a “mandate” to do his worst. We’ve learned something about America that we didn’t know, or perhaps didn’t believe, and it’ll forever color our individual judgments of who and what we are.

I enjoyed smoking a joint back then. High that came on slow and easy with time to think about it. I've pretty much given up the smoke because the weed is just too strong. Prefer to eat now.

Got the bugs from large clones that I received . Also with the mosquito dunks you crush them up on top then water or water first(or does it not make a difference) They arrived today and will use them tonight.
    Thanks

Crushing them up and top dressing your plants will create a extended release type of effect. I think that is more of a prevention method. I would follow the instructions and mix up a batch, then water.

Liv2ski: I would just use plain water for the last 5-7 days of harvest. I also turn my lights off and let them sit in complete darkness for 48 hours before I chop.

The 600 should have a big enough footprint to cover 4 5gals.

Just crumble the mosquito dunks into the pot. say a quarter of a dunk per pot. Water onto them, that will release the funk. It is definitely more of a preventative measure, so do whatever you can to kill the infestation, and the dunks should be able to kill the larvae. i mix the dunks funk into my mix when i transplant but sprinkle some on top if i ever see bugs.

Hello all. Making two batches of beer on Saturday. Smoking weed while I brew. Which brings me to my question. Have you ever made weed infused beer? If so, what process do you recommend. Making a double ipa and an ale. Both will be put in kegs but I could break off some of the batch for bottle fermentation. Thanks.

I would think to add some buds in with the hops but I have never done it personally so don’t take my word for it. I am sure someone here has done it more than once though...

Was thinking, make a water or alcohol infusion and add to keg or bottle at end of process.

They sure look similar. Hoping to maximize the extraction. No idea how much to use for a given amount of beer

weed and hops are very similar. You would need very dry product, similar to the hops, then add it to your mash?

I have done some research into it. To keep it short, its difficult to make it a "buzz beer". After consulting with my friend who brews, we decided to add some in on the first set of hops then we dry hopped with a bit more, knowing it would only add taste. The higher the alcohol content the more THC it can carry, so you would have to do a more intense brew, using a ton of flower product to make it. There might be better ways or newer ways to make a "buzz beer". What we wound up doing was as i described, then when we bottled it, we made a super potent green dragon and spiked the beer. Turned out good.
