Can anyone clue me in on WTF a blue strain is? I was BSing with a old head today and mentioned I want some Durban.
He went off on blue strains.., I never steered it back to my point. (Wasn’t able)
Only Blue strains I know of are blueberry and their offshoots like blue dream an blue cheese. None of these are anything like DP
8 ball in ibuprofen container?
All I know is they all are offspring of Blueberry. There's a ton of blue strains that are all very different. I've only tried a handful of blue stains and great flavor is common denominator.
Blue dream is my favorite sativa which is actually a hybrid but like 80/20. Some top notch Blue cheese was one of the most euphoric highs i can remember.
That's what I keep the freshly ground stuff in for the oney. Currently blue dream

Vermonters are flunking intelligence tests trying to pass off cannabis with 21% THC as hemp
https://www.sevendaysvt.com/OffMessa...ley-dispensary
Now, there is an ongoing issue with growers unknowingly buying hemp seeds that are hot - but those are like 1-2% THC, certainly not 10-20x higher. The medical marijuana business Champlain Valley Dispensary allegedly outsourced the growth of approximately 300 cannabis plants to a farm that wasn't licensed to grow pot, which grew them to maturity before the dispensary returned to harvest the crop.
A lab test conducted last fall by the Agency of Agriculture, Food and Markets found that a piece of plant debris recovered at Pete’s Greens vegetable farm in Craftsbury contained 21 percent THC, the psychoactive compound found in marijuana.
The farm had a license to grow hemp plants, according to an agency document, but the legal limit for THC in Vermont-grown hemp is 0.3 percent. Plants with a higher concentration of THC are considered marijuana and are subject to strict growing regulations that require a permit, locked facilities and other security measures.
I just sent some Blueberry Muffin to bud. Supposed the be the mother of all blue strains.
The problem that is surfacing goes far beyond what this article addresses. Imagine a renegade male pot plant pollinating a 2% thc hemp crop (or 3 or 4) and forcing extra processing to get it below levels that were passible in state/fed regs - or vice versa.
There was some serial bullshitting from one or all involved in that story and the reporter fucked the whole thing up by not adequately differentiating betweem pot and hemp throughout the story.
Had to look up this strain. It’s a cross of blueberry and Purple Panty Dropper, an indica with aphrodisiac properties. Gotta find me some clones of the latter
Rogue males are a problem with outdoor cultivation in general. The problem that is surfacing goes far beyond what this article addresses. I don’t think a male cannabis plant pollinating a hemp grow is gonna increase the THC content of the current crop - should go the other way as the plant puts more energy into seeds vs bud. It’s only if a hemp grower uses the rogue crop’s seeds for the next generation of hemp that they will get into trouble. That’s why finding certified seeds with <0.3% THC in their genetics is hard, and these seeds are going for about $1.00 each. Or about $2.00 per plant.
Fuck. Certified Cherry Wine and other strains going for $5-$7 a seed out of CO.

I did a review of this - see post 7823. Buttahflake agreed with my view, so it has to be good, no?
I went down a huge rabbit hole in my search for a good flower vape last fall.
GPen has been proven to have plastic that melts and emits nasty stuff that you don't want to breathe in.
Pax works but is meh on battery life and expensive for not good features.
Crafty & mighty are two good options but super high end and large form factor.
Dynavap just plain works but uses a butane lighter to function and can feel slightly crackheadish, but is essentially a modern dugout.
Boundless Tera has removable 18650 batteries, adjustable, can work in a water pipe as is, and do concentrates, but is a bit big to pocket for a concert or something.
