At a confirmation hearing Tuesday, attorney general nominee William Barr said that the current system around marijuana laws is 'untenable' and he personally supports prohibiting marijuana across the U.S.

But, Barr said that under the current set of laws he would not go after cannabis businesses that comply with state regulations and a rescinded Justice Department memo (aka Cole Memo).

So, I guess we shouldn't expect across the board legalization before 2021...

LOL!!! Love this review from Leafly:

“What a brilliant strain. With my experience, the fun starts around 30 seconds into my initial intake. Then I would sink. But loved getting up and walking around, no dizziness, everything was just kind of fun. Finally I go back to the couch and have, what I considered at the time, "deep thoughts". "I should go get my journal and write all of this down" I thought. Then the logic side of my brain just says "dude...”

He also said something to the effect of: Things are just kind of convoluted and that if Congress wants to get things changed, they should just get to it.
I agree. If states or local want to pass measures to restrict it, fine. But on a federal level, we have one foot on the beach and one in the water and just want to swim.

    I'm enamored with this vape:

    Flow Dry Herb Vaporizer

Pulsar Flow Dry Herb Vaporizer Review

Had not read this before but a review of the above vape give instructions for cleaning prior to use to "burn off manufacturing oil."

How to Use the Pulsar Flow

When you get your Flow vaporizer, it’s important you charge it for about 6 to 8 hours to get a full charge. After that, you have to sterilize the device before using it to remove manufacturing oil. To do this, turn on the device by pressing the side power button five times quickly. Then increase the temperature to the highest setting by pressing and holding the power button until you see the illuminating light (there are 5 of them) close to the USB charging port. Allow the device to heat until it goes off automatically. Press the power button five times again and repeat the process three times to complete the sterilization.

Edit: and before you get on your soapbox Bobby I already know where you stand re: vaping

Do they think its gonna get them high or something? And even then $320/oz is stiff for excellent weed.

That said, a local brewery is selling a lemon-ginger and a cola with 24mg of CBD per 12 oz can. No alcohol or THC included. Cost is $3.65 per can, or about $7,000 per oz of CBD. Its refreshing, but not THAT refreshing

I still think the CBD craze will follow the Gartner Hype Cycle

Popped into A Greener Today earlier to pick up some more Fairwinds and as always I was blown away by the diverse clientele esp. in this small farming community of some 35K located on the red side of Washington.

As I was going in an old school farmer in his Carhartt jacket old jeans and work boots was walking out with his purchase. Couldn't have been a day under 80yo. I just smiled and nodded as I held the door for him.

Poking around Amazon I came across some "smell proof bags." Found one that looked like it would be a gift for a friend and noticed the "frequently bought together" heads up that Amazon so kindly provides.

Usually they make sense and have some sort of relationship to each other but this one, not so much. WTF?

Best extracts/shop in Aspen these days? I always go to Stash cause it's next to the Grog Shop and City Market.

I've also partnered with a company that is providing banking services for the Cannabis/Hemp industry. Contact me if you would like more information.

PSA - Whitepalm will be accepting new member for 48 hours starting at midnight. I've had nothing but great experiences with them so far and would pick them over the government sites every time.
